Aimee Teegarden (born October 10, 1989) is an American actress. She is currently starring in the NBC series Friday Night Lights.

Aimee Teegarden: Biography

Teegarden was born and raised in Downey, California, a suburb of Los Angeles.

At the age of ten, Teegarden was contacted by an acting class, and asked her parents to sign her up. They agreed, and enrolled her into a few acting classes.

She loves many types of sports, including hockey, baseball, soccer, football, lacrosse, snowboarding, wake boarding, rock climbing, bowling, and surfing. She is actively involved in the Jobs Daughter's Downey Bethel, an organization that services projects to help the community, the less fortunate, and other charities. Aimee is also a past Sweetheart of Walt Disney Chapter Order of DeMolay.

On August 24, 2007, during the Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant, Teegarden posed the question ("Why do you think recent polls show 1/5 of Americans are unable to locate the U.S. on a world map?") that led to an infamously rambling, nonsensical reply by contestant Caitlin Upton.

On June 19, 2008 in Anaheim, California, she was awarded "Honorary International Sweetheart of DeMolay International" by International Master Councilor, Austin Whitaker.

Teegarden has modeled for campaigns including Old Navy, Tommy Hilfiger, Alltel, Hollister, and YMI jeans.

She has made several television appearances including Cold Case, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and Disney Channel's Hannah Montana. Teegarden is currently starring on Friday Night Lights as Julie Taylor, the coach's daughter.

On December 2, 2008, TV Guide reported that Teegarden will join the cast as a guest star of the CW's 90210 as Rhonda, a West Beverly student who crosses paths with Ethan Ward .
