His father is actor Martin Sheen and his younger brother is Charlie Sheen. He is most famous as part of the 1980s brat pack group of actors. Estevez is probably most recognizable among younger audiences for his role in The Mighty Ducks series. Emilio is very proud of his Spanish and Irish heritage. Most recently, he portrayed a younger version of his father's character, Jed Bartlett, in the TV series, The West Wing, (episode name, Twenty Five) and had directed episodes of the TV series, Cold Case and CSI: NY. He was briefly married to singer-choreographer Paula Abdul. |
