Christopher Adam Daughtry (born December 26, 1979 in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina) is an American rock guitarist, singer and songwriter who is the lead vocalist of Daughtry, a band he formed in 2006 after placing fourth on the fifth season of American Idol.
