Francine Joy Drescher (born September 30, 1957) is an American film and television actress and comedian famous for her nasal voice, laugh, Queens accent and being Jewish. She is best known for her leading role on the TV series The Nanny and in films such as Saturday Night Fever, The Beautician and the Beast and Doctor Detroit.
