Don't Open the Door After the Sun Goes Down: Tales of the Real and Unreal Reviews:
Scary stuff
2006-01-09 - Don't Open The Door After The Sun Goes Down by Al Carusone is a very fascinating book. This book is a very descriptive and thrilling book. It combines humor, creepiness and weird mysteries with spooky illustrations for a wonderful read.
We picked this book because is very unique and we can relate to the different stories in the book. The first chapter we can relate to because something similar happened. One day we spent the night at a friends house and her mom said, "You girls can do anything you want as long as you don't open the door at night ."
We liked this book a lot because it doesn't matter where you are reading this book it is a scary book and it will make you want to read more of the book even though you are scared.
We think it is an interesting book because it gives you details and it make you feel like you are right there in the story and it's like you are the one who is trying to escape the horror. You'll love scaring yourself and your friends with these and five other spooky, hilariously entertaining stories. If I could find another book of this I would read it because it is like a good food that even though you are full you need to eat it more and that's the way we feel with this book

A great collection of Strange and Mysterious Stories
2000-11-22 - I found this book by chance and bought it as a gift for my little sister, and she loves it! The stories are scary and weird, but not horrifying (like some scary books for "children"). And they are great for reading out loud and are not too scary to be used as bedtime stories. Also, most of them have an interesting or surprise ending, which is a big plus when you're trying to entertain kids! I highly recommend this for younger scary story fans!
