Editorial Review:
Australian pressing (identical to U.S.) of his smash hit 2003 album features three hidden bonus tracks, 'Wanksta' (from his currently unavailable album, 'No Mercy, No Fear'), 'U Not Like Me' (from his 'Guess Who's Back?' album) & 'Life's On The Line' (from his deleted EP, 'Power Of The Dollar'). Universal.

Description of Get Rich Or Die Tryin:
He’s been shot nine times. Incarcerated. And stabbed up and down. And that’s only what’s happened on 50 Cent’s down time. Hands down, 50 Cent is the biggest buzz emcee since Eminem (who just happens to be his label CEO), and Get Rich also features Dr. Dre on production, so it’s a can’t-miss record, right? Well, mostly. Get Rich is not filled with midtempo, radio-friendly numbers like "Wanksta," his thinly veiled Ja Rule dis first heard on the 8 Mile soundtrack. Instead, Cent brings the heat, not heater. He sheds his inner thug on "21 Questions," featuring G-funk crooner Nate Dogg showing some semblance of respect to the hotties, and then reverts right back to his thug persona on "In da Club," where he boasts "I’m into having sex, I ain’t into making love." There’s no "How to Rob, Pt. 2" here, although "Many Men" comes close, as he addresses some of the haters who may not fully get why he’s now rap’s big cheese. Surprisingly, the two Eminem-produced joints--"Patiently Waiting" (which thematically is very much like Em’s "Lose Yourself"), and "Don’t Push Me"--almost rival the beats supplied by Dre. Then again, it seems his most well-known cuts ("High All the Time" and "Wanksta," for example) are actually some of the weakest of the lot. Sure, Get Rich could never have lived up to the hype, it’s nowhere near Biggie's Ready to Die or Nas's Illmatic, but there's no fast-forward material here, a near miracle in these times. --Dalton Higgins

Get Rich Or Die Tryin Reviews:
Very OVERRATED 3 Star Review
2008-09-28 - I think this album is far overrated and certainly not the classic it's billed as. Also this isn't even 50 Cents best album. For anyone who's heard it, his best album is 'Power Of The Dollar'. He has never been a great lyrically but on POTD he sounds much hungrier and rawer than this album. Go listen, it's worth it.

Get Rich Or Die Tryin' has some good tracks though including: What up Gangsta, Patiently Waiting (Eminem really outshines 50 on this one), Many Men, Heat, Blood Hound, Back Down and Wanksta. All these tracks are worth listening to.

Notice I havn't said any of the singles, that's because they are boring and have been overplayed. In da club was catchy when it came out but tired now, P.I.M.P has a weak beat, 21 Questions also has a weak beat and is a track for the ladies and If I Cant is average at best.

Go and get 50's Power Of The Dollar album or you tube some of the songs off it, with great tracks like How To Rob...., Life's On The Line (which is one of the bonus songs on Get rich or die tryin'), Da Repacussions and Material Girl 2000.

A Timeless Gangsta Rap Masterpeice 5 Star Review
2008-08-17 - My review is solely based on 50 cent as an atrist, and nothing else.

This by far could be one of the best gangsta Rap albums ever made to date.

50's ingredients of hate, and hunger in lyrics, delivery and flow blended flawlessly, creating something that will be considered an "all time" favorite amongst millions way after his time.

It's easy for any rap critic to admit this album alone deemed 50 cent the "Elvis" of Gangsta Rap, selling 12 million copies worldwide.

Im willing to bet that there are very few people, as hip hop fans, that have never heard this cd, with that being said, it would be a waste of time for me to review this album on a track by track basis. Overall, this cd is worth its weight in gold to any true gangsta rap fan abroad.

50 Cents Get Rich Or Die Trying is 5 star CD go cop it now 5 Star Review
2008-08-02 - 1. Intro- This is standard for a 50 cd kicking it off with an intro. Not much you can say here gives you the hardcore feel to the cd thought.
2. What Up Gangsta- This is one of my favorite 50 cent hardcore songs. With the banging beat and the catchy lyrics fif brings it hard here. Nice Hook as well. Song Rating 8/10.
3. Patiently Waiting feat Eminem- Wow if em and fif ever killed one track the produced it was this one. If you heard the song the reup on ems last cd this is even better than that. Fifs lines are pretty good but buring the second verse em just killing it and the beat was banging as well. Great song. Song Rating 9.5/10.
4. Many Men- This is an interesting song. Fif usually brings it with more fast pace rapping but in this situation he slowed it down. The beat was slower but flowed well. The hooks and lyrics in this song were off the page but the beat could have been better. Song Rating 8.5/10.
5. In Da Club- Well this is a song that will be remembered 20 years from now. Fif absolutely found the best beat and may be regarded as the best beat ever. While the song was held short with 2 verses you don't notice it at all. What a great song and one you will never forget. Song Rating 10/10.
6. High All The Time- This was a decent song. You have heard this before from alot of rappers so it was not as impressive to m. Still a very solid song and should be worth checking out. Song Rating 7.5/10.
7. Heat- This was an average song by fif I was hoping he wasn't going to trail off but he got back on track the next song. I wasn't felling this a lot but it is not bad either. Song Rating 7/10.
8. If I Cant- Another one of my favorite 50 songs. You just fell the effort being put in here. The beat once again produced by dre was on par and while i wish it could have been longer i eill take this and its one of the more enjoyable songs on the cd. Song Rating 8.5/10.
9. Blood Hound feat Young Buck- This was a nice time to add anther guest to the cd. One thing about 50 is he usually doesn't have a lot of guest on his cds. This was nice it gave people a look at buck who had never heard him before not his best stuff but not bad either. Song Rating 7.5/10.
10. Back Down- More of a hardcore song here. I like this as fif brings back his street like style to the game which added a nice feel to the cd. Better than what up ganagsta. I was felling the hook and the song as a whole. Song Rating 8.5/10.
11. P.I.M.P.- This was another one of fifs hits. This did nothing for me. I mean nothing. Just the whole aspect of the song did not fit with me the beat is good the lyrics are bad though. I might be wrong but that's my opinion. Song Rating 4.5/10.
12. Like My Style feat Tony Yayo- This was nice to hear another guest on the cd. This is average back in the day I don't know if yayo was not motivated or what but I think he did a very average job on this song. He is a lot better now but one song I fell that could have been better. Song Rating 6.5/10.
13. Poor Lil Rich- This was not a bad song but I just wasn't felling it the first couple times ive listened to it. This grew on me by the fourth time I listened to it but its not one that I will remember forever.
14. 21 Questions feat Nate Dog- Fif brought it back for the ladies hear. Nate Dog was an interesting choice and as much as people hate on this song I felt this was a good spot for this song. We only had like one more song like this on the cd. Good spot and I approve of this song. Song Rating 8.5/10.
15. Don't Push Me Feat Llyod Banks and Eminem- If there could ever be a combination for a hardcore song it would be these three. This song was brought and while it was a little softer than what up gangster it sgtill delivered and kept me happy because we were almost at the end of the cd. Great song. Song Rating 9/10.
16. I gotta make it to heaven- this was a nice way to close the cd. Everyone always says 50 cent dosent have morals well he does show he believes in god and religion and I think this was a perfect place for this song to end the cd on a nice note. Song Rating 7.5/10.

Ok I will say this is one of my favorite cds of all time. I will end up going with a rating of 4.5/5 stars. The first 5 songs on this cd re fire and the cd is well rounded after that. Don't listen to people who say this is a 1 star cd. It doesn't make sense. I know I am going high but to me that's what I felt from this cd. 50 s fire and is here to stay.
It is not a 1 star cd that is just hate go cop this now
