Invincible Reviews:
Not a good followup 1 Star Review
2004-09-06 - I only liked one song "Serious." The rest of the album is just complete album filler to me. The absence of Max Martin on this album is painfully obvious here. Not that Max should be the main one for them, but he was a major part of their edgy debut from 1998. The other producers and writers for this one created songs that seem unfocused, uneven, and sometimes forgettable songs here. There not a lot of the funk that dominated the debut. And rival groups Backstreet Boys and NSYNC put out better albums than this limp album. While I give Five effort, this album just failed to excite me in 2000 the way that their '98 debut did.

Excellent album!!! 5 Star Review
2003-12-02 - This album is great compared to backstreet boys' "millenium" and n'sync's "no strings attached" album!!!! Here's how I summarized each track:

01 Don't Fight It Baby--A Real US boyband song. That song should have set up it's own music video while being released on radio. 9/10

02 If Ya Gettin' Down--Another great song with techno beat. The video made this song precise. 10/10

03 Don't Wanna Let You Go--Another Real US boyband song. It got truncated too much with 2:57 total, but the music video version made it extendible. 8/10

04 Two Sides To Every Story--Reminds me of Destiny Child's "Jumpin' Jumpin'". 8.5/10

05 Keep On Movin'--Sounds like a mature song, but something for New York Technologists to listen. 9/10

06 We Will Rock You--Better than the old version by Queen. But the begining of its radio edit startles me by J's voice. 9/10

07 You Make Me A Better Man--Like a theme of "Dawson's Creek", but good one to create romance. 9/10

08 It's Alright--Reminds me of Vitamin C's "Graduation". But the only problem with this song is that the rap is too strong performed by J. 8/10

09 Serious--#1!!! This is real rapping popular song from the 80's. 10/10

10 Invincible--Reminds me of Elton John's younger times. 9/10

11 How Do Ya Feel--Least favorite track of this album, but it's like FreedomFest guitarist concert. 7/10

12 Everyday--A teen village song. But good enough to close the album. 8.5/10

disapointment compared to first cd 3 Star Review
2003-05-02 - compared to thier first cd, this is a let down. it's got a couple good songs. one that sticks out in mind is ( we will rock you)which is probably the best song on the album other than that the songs arnt catchy and really not that great. i wouldnt buy this album. go get thier first album.

Not as good at their first cd 4 Star Review
2003-04-18 - I'm a big fan of 5ive, and gave their debut cd five stars. I still think they are one of the best boybands out there even though they have since split up. They left behind some really great pop dance music that i won't forget. It's hard to put my finger on, but 5ive had something the other boybands didn't have. There was just something about their music that i found different from NSync and Backstreet Boys. And Five were smart: they broke up at the height of their career and put out three great cds and a greatest hits cd and then split, instead of holding on andmaking everyone sick of them like BSB. Five will be remembered for greatness. This cd, although very good, i didn't like as much as the first one. I found the production uneven, and after listening to the whole cd, it's obvious that one producer did the heavy dance tracks and another producer did lighter pop songs along the likes of "Keep On Movin". Guess you could say i was expecting a continuation of the great and infectious dance groove that i got on the first cd, with more tracks that sounded like "If Ya Gettin Down" or "Two Sides To Every Story". I found tracks like "Mr. Z" and "Battlestar", although good by themselves, seemed out of place on this cd. There is an excellent hidden track that i absolutely love at the very end. It's from the movie Inspector Gadget, and if you have the cd version with Mr. Z and Battlestar on it (as i'm finding out from other reviews that some versions of the cd don't have those two songs on it) then go to the end of Battlestar and hold down the fast forward button and you'll soon enough arrive at it. It's worth finding because you'll love the track. The music reminds me of the great dance tracks from the first cd.All in all, this is a good cd, but i have to admit that some of the tracks i skip over. If you're a fan of Five, get this cd.

Five Keeps On Movin' 4 Star Review
2002-06-22 - Are you tired? Run-down? Listless? Do you poop out at parties? Well, just drop this sweet little disc into your player and your problems are over! As much as I dislike rap and hip-hop, I can somehow overlook it when I listen to Five. The energy they put into their music seems to radiate out of the speakers and into my soul just as their music does into my ears.

"Keep On Movin'" is one of my favorite Five tunes from any of their albums. "Don't Fight It Baby", "Don't Wanna Let You Go", and "Two Sides To Every Story" are great upbeat songs, despite their apparent lack of contributing anything new to the pop landscape. "Everyday" is a breezy ballad with a flute accent which gives it a nice touch. And "We Will Rock You" lives up to its title! It's a bombastic, shake-the-floor, raise-the-roof rocker that gives the Queen original a real run for its money.

The only drawback to this American version of the album is that it's missing the song "Mr. Z", a thoroughly fun ditty that's worth it if you find an import version of the "Invincible" album containing this song for a reasonable price. (As for "Battlestar" -- sorry, but I personally don't care for that one.) Bottom line: go ahead, give in to your inner teenager -- Five will make you smile!
