Editorial Review:
Boston Rockabilly band The Raging Teens recorded with legend Deke Dickerson in Los Angeles for their 2nd CD, Rock ‘n’ Roll Party. Dickerson utilized vintage recording equipment and style to produce them in mono. The Boston Phoenix recently called the Raging Teens "the feistiest and most fun of Boston’s rockabilly outfits."
The Raging Teens have toured the Rockabilly circuit for over 5 years, building a following in both the US and Europe. They are looking to break out with their first Rubric Records release. Expect to see them all over the place in the coming year.
Rock 'n' Roll Party Reviews:
Incredible Followup!
2001-05-15 - The second offering by Raging Teens is as solid as the first one. Lots of high energy to the songs with an authentic 50s edge to it and the pianos by Sonny Leland really highlight the already great tunes. one of the better rockabilly releases so far in 2001.
Classic rockabilly recorded in the classic way
2001-02-22 - I really enjoyed The Raging Teens first album and was immensely looking forward to this one. The first time I heard it, I think I was slightly dissapointed because it didn't seem to have quite the energy of the first one. However, after repeated listening I don't know what I was thinking. This album is great.
It was recorded with vintage equipment in glorious mono. This is one of my favorite discs.
