2000-09-03 - then I read the book. This book is outstanding. I am sure everyone will get the message. The letters are very enjoyable. Letter XI is my favorite. I wrote it down and gave it in a card to my man and he cried. Everyone that can read must read this book. It is easy reading and then when you get to the end, it is kicked up another notch with the journal. Her words are real. I am sure it will make Oprah's Book of the Month Club, if it doesn't it should. I loved this book, it is honesty and I feel the writer gave so much of herself. She is right about love it does not hurt. I look forward to her next book.

2000-08-26 - I am amazed by this book. How could she give so much of herself to him, and now to the world with this book? I only hope that one day I can love in away that will allow me to express myself with the elegance she showed in the letters. No Such Thing As Wasted Love, I cried as I read this book, because it made me wonder about myself, and how I have been going along with the crowd instead of having the strength to stand by my own convictions. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone whom has ever been in love, or who thinks there in love now. Love is about giving, and the writer of this book has given to Tolane, and the world a gift that will last forever, her words.

2000-08-20 - This book will make you laugh, cry, and think. The letters are unbelievable. The love scene is sooooo hot, but tasteful. After reading Ms. Lee's words, I now believe to love is a gift. I realize I had taken those I claimed to love for granted. Not only that, I felt before reading this book, the time I spent trying to save my marriage was time wasted. However, I am now secure that I made the right choice. I am happy that I did not walk away from that relationship without a fight. She's is right, no matter how hard you love sometimes you don't get the man/girl. But you can still take comfort in knowing you are able to love. Thank you Ms. Lee!!!!
