My Favorite Aaliyah Song! 
2004-01-16 - This is and always be my favorite Aaliyah song. Everytime I listen to it or see the video it makes me think about the plane crash that took her life. I mean, the plane was overloaded and weighed too much. Aaliyah and the people she was working with are celebrities. They have money. I don't understand why they couldn't send the things that made the plane overweight through the mail. That probably could have saved their lives. She was an amazing person. She is truley missed. RIP

2002-09-22 - This is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard!Aaliyah's voice is just makes me feel so peaceful.In this song Aaliyah is telling her lover to "rock the boat/work the middle/change positions/stroke it".Yes,it's a little different from her other songs but trust me,it's worth it!

2002-04-21 - "Rock the Boat," the second single to be released from Aaliyah's self-titled 2001 album was one 2001's best songs due to a smooth, rhythmful beat mixed with Aaliyah's beautiful, soothing vocals. The song, which in my opinion, happens to be the best song on that album, was a pleasant surprise for many R&B/soul listeners that year due to an onslaught of horrible rap/pop duets that only made the recording world look more bland than it already was.
Tragically, it was during the filming of the video for this song that Aaliyah tragically perished in an aviation accident. The beautiful, young, and talented star who was bound for greatness left the world suddenly, but her work will live on forever. "Rock the Boat" will appeal to anyone who not only appreciates quality music, but also anyone who like Aaliyah, fulfilled a dream and made an impact in the world, regardless if their deed/contribution was great or small.

2002-04-18 - Aaliyah...this woman came in our lifes so suddenly. She showed us the world from another point and after this she just disà ppeared in the same way she came. I never knew her well and I don't know many of her songs...but somehow I feel her. She was like my friend that I would never meet. She was magnificent in every way. That's why she will miss us. I don't have words to describe my feelings. My heart is bleeding. I am crying every day because I'll never hear her voice alive. But Aaliyah will rest in my heart forever.
