Editorial Review:
Just as the Osmonds spun off solo careers for younger siblings Marie and Jimmy in the '70s, Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys now sees 12-year-old brother Aaron bringing his own album to the kid-pop table. The closest this Disney Radio-ready disc gets to naughtiness is "My Internet Girl," a squeaky-clean celebration of instant-messaging. It fits right in with whitewashed, piping-voiced takes on '60s hits such as "I Want Candy" and "Iko Iko," and the lite-funk of the title track. Almost quaint in its preteen tone, Aaron's Party is certainly suitable listening for even the youngest kids. --Rickey Wright
Aaron's Party (Come Get It) Reviews:
Cute for kids
2009-07-15 - When I bought this, my daughters loved him. Now they gag at his music. It was just a faze.
Sweet Preteen Nostalgia
2009-06-21 - I was so glad to find this on Amazon's Downloads! I listened to this over and over as a preteen. My mother enjoyed it, as well; with the retro covers Aaron masters. Its a sweet cd.
Total Trash
2008-11-13 - Aaaron carter is amongst the worst of the worst after Jstin timberlake. This cd is so awful that u cant use it as a coaster for your beer can.avoid this cd at all costs.Get any album from Pink floyd instead.
A true pop genius!
2008-11-10 - I've been a huge Aaron Carter fan since I was a mere little child! This was one of the first CDs I bought. I still listen to it, to this day, on my up-to-date 1999 portable CD player. I even have a poster of the album cover hanging above my bed! Who needs that pretentious, overrated, boring, uninspired "Pet Sounds" crap? This is what pop should sound like. Brian Wilson is a joke. Aaron Carter is a pop legend, forever and always.
Seriously
2008-05-15 - Anyone who admits to owning, liking, or listening to this should be ashamed of themselves.
Worst music on the planet.
