For Book Lovers Reviews:
Perfect background music!
2008-03-01 - Of the whole series, this and one other (for the Hopeless Romantic) are my favorites. I love classical music but find much of it hard to listen to as the volume goes from soft to loud and back. This CD is a collection of gentle classical pieces perfect for background music during most any occasion. It doesn't jar at any point, but peacefully accompanies whatever is going on. And it is a perfect backdrop to a good book!

Perfect
2004-08-13 - This entire series of discs is really great...centered around a theme ("Book Lovers," "Lazy Afternoons," "When You're Alone,")each CD is full of beautifully done instrumentals that, interestingly enough, really do catch the spirit of the title. I particularly like this one--"for Book Lovers"--and read with it playing in the background. Could you find "better" performances or recordings of the selections? Sure. But for the convenience, quality, seclections and price, why should you? These are a terrific value, and a great way to start a classical music collection. Enjoy.
