From the supplier: Economic growth can only be achieved if a significant percentage of the population is employed and earning their own income. Full employment can have many benefits. It can weaken racial and other forms of discrimination during hiring and recruitment. It also maintains social stability by shielding citizens from dangerous ideologies, scapegoating and anti-democratic political movements. Full employment should be given more priority over balance of trade policies. Employment ensures the stability of the currency and may also serve as a buffer for minor economic losses.
