Abba - Super Troupers Reviews:
Great Story of ABBA
2009-07-10 - I bought this for my wife and she loves it. She being a Mama Mia fan first, then introduced to its insiration, this DVD helps account for the history behind the populatiry. It is our opinion that we enjoy this, and learn a lot of the bands history (the good and the bad). There is a lot of information packed into it including the personal interviews and they play clips from their music from the very begining. It is the same documentary we saw on TV in 2004 or 2005, remembered it, and eventually ordered this DVD.
Bad pruchase
2009-05-23 - This product was all over cracked and broken. If i had the chance I would seek a refund. I wish amazon should help me address this iusse. I am ready to supply the data to proove my case instead of making a false cliam. I hope somebody should help and get my refund for me.

wonderful group and dvd
2009-05-08 - After a performance of Mama Mia, I purchased this dvd, because I didn't know who Abba were or even that they were Swedish. Since then, I've been hooked.
The dvd provided me with wonderful insight into the group, especially their names. Figuring who was who was fun, and I liked the performances of the original songs, and liked the vocals from the girls. My favorite member is Agnetha, though not knowing her story, I was hoping she would come with the others.
Good dvd for anyone new to Abba, like me.
For those of you wanting the missing verse to Dancing Queen, it's on here, although I wish the song was complete without the voice-overs.
Production problems?
2009-01-06 - Although I replaced the original dvd sent to me twice, they all seem to be defective. The dvd's will not play past the 7th chapter...:-(
I hope this is resolved, as it is a dvd I'd like to own.
A must have for any true ABBA fan!
2008-08-06 - I've been a fan of ABBA since the 70's. I grew up with their music.
I rediscovered them in 2006 and enjoy their happy and simple music as much now, as I did over 30 years ago. More than a sentimental attachment, ABBA was truly a great and pioneering pop music group. They suffered the misfortune of existing during the early 70's to early 80's, when rock music was more prevalent.
I own another ABBA documentary DVD which goes from their beginnings to 1999. This one continues up to 2004, for the five year anniversary of the hit musical "Mama Mia". There's more coverage of live ABBA performances in this documentary. It's a worthy addition to the collection of any true ABBA fan. To me, ABBA is the greatest pop music group ever.
