DVD 1 goes all the way back to 1975 and original singer Bon Scott with the band's first appearance on TV, quickly followed by two never-before-seen performances from the 1976 show at Sydney's St. Alban's High School. Also on DVD 1 are live clips from Melbourne, London, Glasgow, Holland, and Munich - including the very first public performance of the song "Highway To Hell"! DVD 2 picks up in Tokyo, with Brian Johnson at the mic. Tearing through new songs and old, the band clearly doesn't miss a beat and goes on straight through 2003 - performing with childhood heroes The Rolling Stones. Also included are rare interviews, tour promo films and alternate live versions. DVD 3 is a 2 hour collection called "Between The Cracks" - stuff too good to leave out! Leaves you a little lost at times
2008-08-19 - I'm not going to elaborate on what other reviewers have (mostly correctly) said, but I do need to address the fact that the whole 7 hours is incredibly disjointed. Jumping from one concert to another, repeating tracks while leaving others out, (why is there no later version of "It's a long way to the top....?") a "Guide" book that is about as easy to follow as Dan Quaid's ramblings, and that grating video game menu with its subdivided Tracks 1,2 &3. Trying to match book to menu is a real drag at times. At the end, you feel more exhausted from trying to make the ends meet than from rocking along to the otherwise great music. In a nutshell, it must have had promise at the outset, but it somehow got lost in the mix. Great addition to any true fan's collection, but personally I'd take the Donington DVD any day.

For Hardcore AC/DC Fans
2008-05-27 - Although I don't consider my self a `hardcore" fan of AC/DC, I do enjoy most of what they have produced. That being said, I was a little let down by this DVD set. It's not bad. On the contrary it is quite well done. Some very interesting live segments. The problem I had with them is that they are not usually good or great live performances. Some of them are not much better than a bootleg. Most of the segments are of the obscure type. I wouldn't recommend this to casual fan; it's more designed for the hardcore fan.

I shouldn't have a moral right to complain about the music I suppose. I'm a huge Motorhead fan after all. I know they're not playing nice melodies for middle aged women to swoon too. But Watching Angus Young on stage is probably the most annoying thing I've ever had to watch. I know, I know, they're a rock and roll band; how can they stand still when they're raaaawkin'? But how much can you take of watching a scrawny little midget with fly away long hair, often in school shorts strutting about stage, knees jabbing everwhere, shaking his head up and down almost non stop? Play the guiatar Angus! Hair goes up. Hair goes down. Hair goes up. Hair goes down. Hair goes up. Hair goes down. Hair goes up. Hair goes down. Up. Down. Up. Down.Up. Down. Up. Down.Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down. It's like effin' Chinese water torture after 5 minutes. Try turning off the sound and jsut *look* at them if you don't believe me.

But Rock and roll is supposed to be annoying you might say! Well here it's not so much rock and roll as something not dissimilar to Jar Jar Binks. Audio wise it may have it's merit. I'm not much of a fan, but I can see why people might like this. But watching AC/ DC, particularly Angus Young, on stage was incredibly grating. Maybe somebody should make a live AC/ DC DVD called "The Angus edit" removing all the Angus Young camera moments.

Great for the AC/DC lover
