2008-12-27 - "Killashandra" is the exciting sequel to Anne McCaffrey's "Crystal Singer." Killashandra Ree,who has become a musical mistress on the dangerous planet Ballybran, must secure a powerful load of crystals. She's kidnapped... and finds a people enslaved. Of course,there's an obligatory romance between Killashandra and her kidnapper Lars Dahl. "Killashandra" is a fun,fast-paced read. It's not as good as its predecessor,but it doesn't fall into the Sequel Syndrome. Fly away!

2007-12-29 - If you haven't read everything she's written, at least give it a try.....

2007-09-04 - I read all 3 books in one weekend. I could not put them down. Some of the most imaginative, creative storytelling, but then it is Anne McCaffrey. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys fantasy with a touch of wonder. All of Anne McCaffrey's series are enjoyable, this series takes second place only to "The Rowan" series of books.

2007-09-03 - The problem with the whole crystal singing gig is that you can lose your mind. Here, the protagonist has other problems. After an accident mining on the planet with the good stuff she has to take a job off world.
She ends up uncovering an alien brainwashing plot, and finds someone to shag, with a few adventures along the way.
Not as good as the first book.
An enjoyable read
2007-01-18 - This was a very enjoyable read. This is one of Anne's last good books. I recommend it.
