Editorial Review:
Few comebacks in rock and roll history have been as amazing as that of Aerosmith. Their triumphant return to the charts in the '80s not only rekindled the band's earlier success, but also significantly surpassed it. With their top 20 hits "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)," "Ragdoll," and the top 10 power ballad, "Angel," the group proved they had even more fire left in their fight than anyone could have imagined. Leaving behind its reckless lifestyle, the band sacrificed none of their rowdy rock and roll. "Ragdoll" and "Love in an Elevator" built upon Aerosmith's raunchy blues approach to hard rock, complete with singer Steven Tyler's howl in the best form of his career. Big Ones includes these rockers along with the spooky Grammy-winner "Jamie's Got a Gun," and the slower but still hard-edged "Crazy." Other high points of the new and improved band are reflected in "The Other Side" and the anthem "Eat the Rich." --Steve Gdula

Big Ones Reviews:
AWESOMELY BIG 3 Star Review
2009-08-27 - This collection is truly THE GREATEST HITS COLLECTION of all times. a must-have in your private library. The second greatest hits cd that is out now is more like a remix of some of their old stuff and a couple of newer song but this one's a mayor a** kicker this CD ROXX.

I feel this is where I outgrew Aerosmith 2 Star Review
2009-08-20 - I feel that Aerosmith lost some of it's edge in the 90's. I was not a fan of "Get A Grip", and I haven't given a chance for "Nine Lives". I hate half the songs on here like "Crying", "Crazy", "Blind Man", "Janie's Got A Gun". I feel that this was a flake off to Geffen records as they weren't able to get a lucrative deal out of them. I found the songs from "Permanent Vacation" that are represented here are the best songs on the album, and "Living On The Edge" is just o.k. Otherwise this is a poor excuse for a greatest hits compilation.

The title says it all! 5 Star Review
2009-06-01 - I love this CD. Although I wasn't a big fan of the band during the 70s, (I can remember my sister playing Walk This Way at at high decibel) I've come to love them. I love Steven Tyler's voice. He can hit a soprano note better than I can!

I play this CD in my car all the time. I love all the songs on it; especially Cryin', Amazing, and What It Takes. Those three really hit home with me.

As many other reviews said, if you're not "into" Aerosmith already, try this CD. I guantee you'll love it too!

"Run away from the pain..." 4 Star Review
2009-04-07 - Big Ones by Aerosmith is a greatest hits album, this cd does not span the bands entire career of songs, just the ones from the '80s and early '90s. My fave song from this collection is Janie's Got A Gun, Steven Tyler's voice is so powerful and cool. Crazy, Love in an Elevator, Dude Looks Like a Lady, Cryin', Livin' on the Edge, and Amazin' are some of the best tracks here. Not a complete collection but good enough.

It Rocks 5 Star Review
2009-03-30 - Best of the best of Aerosmith. One of my all time favorite CD's. They don't let you down. Good work-out CD too.
