The In-Laws (1979) / The In-Laws (2003) (Double Feature) Reviews: Great film timeless 2009-09-17 - I have watch this film from the time it came out in the movies. i had in video and now dvr. it is a hoot. if you want to laugh your pants off the orginal with peter falk is to die for. the remake was funny but now as funny hey but i still laughed.
hey share it with your dentist.
The original movie, the absolute best! The remake? Garbage. 2009-06-29 - My mother brought me to see the original movie when I was a kid! My God, I loved this movie. When it would come on HBO, I would watch it again and again. When they remade this movie, I gave it a chance, but itproved to be pure garbage. Why remake a movie that was already perfect to begin with? I am only giving this DVD a 5 star because it has the original one on it. If I had to rate the newer, updated version, I would give it a flat out 0. That's the truth! PLEASE GET IT ONLY TO WATCH THE ORIGINAL!
DVD Defective 2009-05-10 - The DVD skipped at two points in the play (very annoying) for too lengthly a time.
Informed seller.......who indicated that I should return the defective DVD for a replacement. I returned it, but to this day, have never received the replacement promised.
A pair of goodies 2009-04-09 - To me, this is one of the few times that both the original and the remake are quite good. Personally, I prefer the Michael Douglas version to the Peter Falk version. While the stories are a little far-fetched, they are very entertaining.
Absolutely Halarious 2008-09-09 - This movie is so funny and entertaining I have watched it several times and at the dental office as well. I love tis type of humor and it had me laughing the entire time. I have only watched the new version, 2003, with Michael Douglas and have not seen the older version from the 1970's.
Great move
Wonderful laughs
Highly recommend this
