Beautiful teen Mia Sampson (Sarah Lind) dreams to be a model and her dreams seem to come true when she is asked to pose for photographs to be displayed on an Internet website for "members only." But the owner of the website posts Mia's pictures on an xxx-rated site. To remove the photos from the web and restore her daughter's dignity, Mia's mother (Mimi Rogers) must use all her wiles to fight the pornographers. Selling Innocense is a timely and all-too-true fable of the dangers of illicit internet pornography.

A LIFETIME CHANNEL TYPE MOVIE WITH HARD PROFANITY 
2009-12-16 - Even though Lifetime Channel Movies nearly always portray girls and women as harrassed, hustled, and hurt by most of the men in their lives, their stories are often well produced and entertaining. As I read the material describing this movie, I felt that it would be a typical Lifetime style movie and for the most part it was. But a disturbing aspect is the way that the producers inserted the "GD" profanity phrase all throughout this movie, used by both adults and underage teens. It seems to me that those who produce these kinds of films have a "hate males" and "hate God" agenda that they would like to program into the minds of all those who view their films and it is getting more than a little tiresome. For those who are beginning to wonder, there really are a lot of wonderful males out there and God is the most wonderful being of all. The really disturbing aspect of this particular movie is that much of the money that was used to produce it came from the Canadian government! Do they have a "hate males"/"hate God" agenda too?
