Constrictor Reviews:
Of it's time 3 Star Review
2009-05-05 - This was not what I expected to hear from Alice Cooper in 1986, as I had been a devout fan of his 'lost years' - but it wasn't surprising either. This material fit in with the traditional heavy metal sound of the time (although the electronic drums were way overused) and did combine the more theatrical aspects of his old style. 'The World Needs Guts' is one of Alice Cooper's greatest tracks ever, certainly one of his most violent and still positive anthems that completely transcends the genre it's associated with.
To be honest, nothing else on offer here is equal to that song, but nothing else has to be, either.

It's a shame... 4 Star Review
2009-04-27 - That this album is mostly known for "He's Back...". It's a great song, but man, this album has so much more to offer than this one track. Not as good in my opinion and definitely not as heavy as the follow up "Raise Your Fist And Yell", "Constrictor" sees a definite shift in Alice trying to cater more than ever to Metal fans.

ALICE COOPER - CONSTRICTOR 5 Star Review
2008-06-29 - I really like this CD it fun ROCK & ROLL and one song that they used on
"FRIDAY THE 13 PART 6" "HE'S BACK" the song on the album.
I first got this album back in 1986, but through time I lost it I
just got a new copy of this album.
Any fan of ALICE COOPER this album is a must have!!
I rate this CD a 8 from 1to10!!

Alice Cooper rocks 5 Star Review
2008-01-10 - This is one of the first albums I purchased by Alice Cooper and I still love it today. Cooper gets back to a little harder edge on this release as well as RAISE YOUR FIST AND YELL. He is helped out by Kip Winger and Kane Roberts and their influence is right up front.

He's Back!! 5 Star Review
2007-10-31 - He's Back!! To quote the last(and one of the best might I add)songs on the disc Alice Cooper truly is back. After 4 pretty lame records (For a guy named Alice Cooper anyway) 2 of witch were probobly the single 2 worst almems ever made "Zipper Catches Skin" and "DaDa"(Alice himself says he was so heavly into booze at the time he doesn't even remember ever recording those two)that coupled with the fact that starting with "Flush The Fashion" Alice was trying to shed the shock rock image.he VERY image that made Alice who he was.So after getting sober and a three year break after "DaDa" The Coop returned to his roots.and the Father of Shock,Glam,Goth, and Stage thatrics was back. The whole album rocks. From the opening track "Teenage Frankinstien",th He's Back(The Man Behind The Mask) the theme from Friday the 13th part 6 Jason lives. In fact if you have the box set The life and crimes of Alice Cooper there is a demo verson of He's back on it. The demo is not on this album but the music is.The music was used for the song "Trick Bag"Track 7!! This Album Proves that The Coop "THE REAL COOP"was still there.....Maybe he never left.Anyway He's Back!!!Buy the Disc!!!***** out of *****
