Science Fiction Reviews:
Real fans already got it - new fans don't buy it!
2001-11-03 - This album pops up every once in a while with a new name and sometimes new and fancy song titles... These live songs from the beginning of Alice's career are only a necessity to buy if you already got everything concerning Alice... if not, don't buy it. The only studio tracks with good sound quality like "Ain't That Just Like A Woman" are even NOT Alice Cooper material at all!!! And that's official!!! So if you want these live tracks in better quality, look out for the "Live At The Whiskey A-Gogo" album, or buy the studio tracks on "Pretties For You" an "Easy Action". But drink a sixpack of Budweiser while listening even to these two: There are only 5 songs on both albums that won't make an unsuspecting listener puke... and two of them are also on the Box Set - perhaps BUYING THAT might be you best bet!
Great Classic...
2001-10-24 - This is a Great Classic, dont listen to the other fools, take my wonderful advice and buy this precious Compact Disc today..
alice go poopoo
2000-08-22 - It's hard to believe alice cooper could be capable of such a horrible mess! at some points this doesn't even resemble music. If you are going to buy any alice cooper album PLEASE start with "Love It To Death", and forget you ever heard about this album. I've had burps that were more musical than this!
This is a bad albulm
2000-06-24 - This is not a new albulm at all, but an albulm that keeps having its tracks rearranged and retitled and resold. This albulm is bad. It sounds like a drunken live albulm. Each and every song falls apart. Most of the time it doesn't even sound like they are playing the same song. If you think you want to hear these songs, then buy the boxed set and hear the best of them done right. The only clear song on the albulm is Aint that just like a woman. But the rest of the albulm is bad.
Science Fiction...an appropriate name
2000-06-22 - Having been an Alice fan since 1972, I was surprised by this latest release...is it Alice, Elvis or the Byrds..hard to tell. One can certainly hear some of his earliest inspirations in this odd mixture of sound (I hesitate to say music). My husband and I were fortunate to attend the final dress rehearsal for Brutal Planet in Phx in May...now THAT'S Alice at his best! Just like a fine wine, Alice you get better with age.
