2009-09-26 - PEAVE TO UNDERSTAND HOW LEGENDARY AND IMPORTANT THIS MAN WAS AND IS TO ROCK AND ROLL, ALICE COOPER BROUGHT THE HORROR IMAGE TO ROCK, ALL THE PSYCHOBILLY AND ALL THE METAL BANDS WITH A MACABRE IMAGE EVEN THE GOTH WAS ALL ALICE COOPER, HE WAS THE FIRST AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OF IT, ITS AMAZING TO ME WHY HE DOESNT GET CREDIT ENOUGH FOR IT, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME , THIS DVD WAS FILMED LIVE IN 1975 WHEN I WAS A KID I WAS FASCINATED WITH PICTURES I SAW OF ALICE COOPER IN CREEM AND CIRCUS MAGAZINES I ALWAYS WISHED I COULD SEE HIM LIVE, WHEN THIS MOVIE CAME OUT I WAS 8 YRS OLD AND I BEGGED MY DAD TO LET ME GO, I DID AND MAN WAS I BLOWN AWAY ALICE COOPER IS A CLASS ACT BEING A HORROR FILM BUFF I GOT THE FEELING AFTER WATCHING THIS CONCERT WHICH FEATURED VINCENT PRICE THAT I JUST SAW A HORROR ICON WHO JUST DID A SPECTACULAR THEATER PREFORMANCE OF A HORROR STORY ABOUT A KID HAVING A NIGHTMARE, I REALIZED ALICE WAS RIGHT THERE WITH CHRISTOPHER LEE, V.PRICE, PETER CUSHING AND ALL THE HORROR GREATS ONLY DIFFERENCE HE WAS A ROCK STAR, ALICE IS THE LON CHANEY OF ROCK A TRUE HORROR LEGEND I FEEL SORRY FOR THOSE WHO DONT GET IT.

2009-05-15 - Did Obama see this before his recent Arizona commencement address? If not, he should have if only to see the stagecraft he and his teleprompter can only HOPE to live up to! I took off a star only because the package should've included the TV Special...oh well, maybe that's for a future release
the best welcome dvd
2008-10-05 - i have had this on video and dvd from europe but i had to have the rhino dvd..
what you get on this dvd is a very cool and fun alice cooper commentary with brian nelson his right hand man, memorabilia quiz and over 20 min interview with alice..
i think the sound and picture is much better on this dvd as well..
the show and the set list is great and i think he has a killer line up with him.
if you want the welcome to my nightmare on dvd get the rhino one..

2008-01-08 - Alice Cooper is one of my favorite musicians. However, this dvd is not what I was expecting. This does not mean that it is not your cup of tea. This dvd is a little on the strange side, but of course thats the way Alice Cooper is. I have given this dvd only three stars at this time but it is starting to grow on me so who knows it may yet receive five stars at a later date.
