Editorial Review:
It's time to tidy up for another season with Primetime Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Tony Shalhoub in all 16 Season Five episodes of Monk, television's most fresh and funny series. Gumshoe Adrian Monk would never actually have gum on his well-polished shoes: in addition to intellect and instinct, he also has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Though his eccentric traits bewilder his colleagues Natalie Teeger (Traylor Howard), Captain Stottlemeyer (Ted Levine) and Lieutenant Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford), Monk's attention to detail keeps crime—and grime—off the streets. Included in this highly collectible, 4-disc set are both the black & white and color versions of the noir-style episode "Mr. Monk and the Leper," obsessively good bonus features and the pilot episode of the hit comedy-drama Psych. Follow the clues to Season Five of Monk, the quirky and original show TV Guide hails as "alternatively hilarious and touching."
Monk - Season Five Reviews:
Not pleased at all...
2009-10-29 - The product was totally squashed when I got it. I'm very disappointed and can't afford to send it back.
He's The Guy
2009-06-06 - Another awesome season from one of my all time fave shows (Quantum Leap being the other). I wasn't too keen on the first two episodes ('Mr Monk & the Actor' & 'Mr Monk & the Garbage Strike') which I thought were just a little bit silly, but apart from that minor speed bump this season rocks. Buy it and enjoy it. 'You'll thank me later'.

Monk
2009-01-06 - Monk is a great TV show. It is funny, clean, and family-friendly. Season 5 is full of great episodes.
Mr Monk never disappoints!
2008-12-30 - As always, Monk delivers an outstanding performance of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Detective). Sharona was enjoyable, but I find I like Natalie as his long suffering assistant even more for her spirited responses and believable care for Monk's self-inflicted predicaments. Stottlemeyer, while not the greatest actor around, is still convincing as the empathetic but grouchy police captain. Randy, as his assistant, gets funnier all the time. As a whole, the entire series just keeps getting better! But what I like the best about Mr. Monk is that he is saying it's ok to be less than perfect.
