2002-02-24 - Songs In A minor is like the COOLEST cd ever! She doesn't only sing well, she also writes personal and catchy tunes like Troubles, Fallin' and A Woman's Worth. When you listen to the album, you'll hear different kinds of music: from the soulful Fallin', A Woman's Worth and How Come You Don't Call Me, to the rnb reviving grove Jane Doe and Girlfriend. This girl can sing! She, I think, is THE BEST newcomer of 2001! For a new artist to have both number one album and single in the US Charts is already a great achievement. She doe not only have # 1 album and single, she is already nominated in the Grammy Awards, AMA's and other music Awards! Beacuse of her writing abilities, one can really see her passion in music. Go out and buy this cd! I assure you, your money is worth spending on this cd. And her live performances...when she sings with her piano... I'm speechless!

2001-11-25 - This is a great album! I love the way Alicia Keys has combined calssical music with today's popular styles. It makes her music smart and interesting. This is a definite winner for those who enjoy jazz and/or classical music.

2001-09-07 - I have just purchased this CD and I love it, of course I love good music to make love to and this is one! I would like to purchase more but not many artist make romantic music, with all the great female singers, and male out there you would think there would be more. Buy this CD if you are a romantic at heart!
I can't wait for the next one!!!
