If you enjoyed the book, then DON'T get the movie. 
2009-10-21 - Not a very good movie. My 2 kids (9 and 10) and I loved the book so we decided to get the DVD. What a mistake. The boy just could not watch it and left the room. The little girl forced herself to watch the entire thing and at the end said "That was terrible." My sentiments exactly.
Stormrider 
2009-09-18 - It is a very entertaining video. All ages could watch. This lad is like a young James Bond, so to speak. And of course the good guy always wins.
Operation Stormbreaker 
2009-05-17 - The Alex Rider series is popular with many students in middle and junior high school. The movie was a great supplement, after having read the book, by giving students the opportunity to discuss differences between the two mediums. Students can often describe details in the book that were absent in the movie. This can be a valuable opportunity to engage young readers, who may not necessarily enjoy reading, in a fun book discussion followed up by a movie day reward for completing the book.

2009-05-04 - I bought this movie for my 10 year old son. He is reading the Alex Rider books and wanted to see the movie. He loved it! He has shared it with his friends and they enjoyed it, too!
Great follow up after reading the book
2009-03-30 - I am a teacher. We read the book Stormbreaker and then watched the movie. The kids enjoyed it and easily overlooked the mediocre acting, special effects, etc. Overall, it was worth the purchase.
