Near Perfection 
2000-10-18 - Most viewers who had the unenviable task of sitting through the cinematic horror that was 'The Beach' (two hours of watching Leo DiCaprio frolic in his underpants? Pleeze!) went out the theater with the wistful strains of 'Pure Shores' ringing in their ears. By this time, most people agree that this song was the only noteworthy feature of the film.
Months after the single, it is remarkable that it stands the test of time, and doesnt appear just another jaded pop ditty. With William Orbit's trademark (for the last three years, at least) synth effects, as well as the electronica ridge that subtly dominates most of the track's ethereal ambience, "Pure Shores" shows us once again how it remained one of the highest selling British singles this century, despite one of the most hideous and unimaginative album covers ever. Highly recommended, even if you generally hated the Saints' first album.
GREAT SONG! 
2000-05-03 - All Saints have proved they still have their talent even after marriages and childbirth. The single is very well written and harmonized. Also check out their debut album (I think from 1997)which I also reviewed. This might just be their next big hit, and, like "Never Ever" and "I Know Where It's At", it may become popular in the US. I can't wait for the realease of their sophomore album.

2000-04-26 - This first single from all saints is amazing. They prove that not all girl groups form the late nineties lacked talent. Hopefully this group will go far......
