Look in My Heart Reviews:
Not as good as her "Alyssa" album 4 Star Review
2009-01-08 - If you like Tommy February, I recommend this album and the Alyssa album. Her Japanese is good, I wish she would've made more japanese songs. Not as upbeat and catchy as her self titled album. Has the best 80's synths i've heard. Makes me smile when I hear it.

The Power Of One 4 Star Review
2008-07-17 - From 1998 to 2006, television viewers around the world were entranced and CHARMED as Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty, and, later, Rose McGowan, played the magical Halliwell sisters, three ordinary women facing ordinary problems, until they inherited a Victorian mansion in San Francisco, and discovered they were witches, gifted with the power to move objects, the power to see into the future, and the power to freeze time, or, as it was better known, the Power of Three.
Long before Alyssa breathed life into the amazing witch Phoebe, she, L.A. arranger Joey Carbone("It's Garry Shandling's Show"),and a few close friends cast a different kind of spell in "Look In My Heart," a toe-tapping, sing-along, poptastic 80's-style music mix guaranteed to vanquish those demons known as the blues. From the Debbie Gibson-esque title song to a rockin' interpretation of the Crystal's "Da Doo Ron Ron" in a medley with "Magic In Your Eyes," by Carbone and her dad Tom, the younger Alyssa provides the perfect accompaniment for working, surfing the net, or just plain chillin' out. (Lyssa even turns in a great performance as the heartbroken rapper in the Latin-tinged "You Lied To Me." Oh, BTW, this is a Japanese import, as evidenced by the bilingual "Kimi Wa Sunshine Boy," but no prior knowledge of Japanese is required to enjoy this. It's a shame this CD never received wide airplay in the USA, but once you slip this CD in your player, you too will be Charmed by the power of one magical vocalist, the Amazing Alyssa. (Hello,Radio DIsney! It's not too late! You can still add this to your playlist! She knocks Britney, Hilary, even Miley right out of the park! And I'm not just saying this because she designed women's baseball apparel!)

You played me for a fool. 1 Star Review
2005-12-30 - This album was released by Alyssa Milano in 1989, in Japan only. This was back when she was still on Who's the Boss. It sounds like a poor imitation of a Debbie Gibson or Tiffany album. It's no wonder it was never released in America. This product is so geared for the Japanese market, Alyssa even sings a little bit of Japanese in "Kimi Wa Sunshine Boy". I can't vouch for how good her pronunciation is. The only reason to get this CD is for the curiosity factor, but who wants to pay the outragous import price? I should also mention that the CD is only 30 minutes long.

Ummm I don't think so 1 Star Review
2005-02-12 - I am an Alyssa Milano fan but i'm not a Alyssa Milano liar. This is not singing no way no how. She's talking not singin. The only songs i do like is Count on Me,Magic In Your Eyes, and Somewhere in Jamaica but they are on other albums anyway she still can't sing.

Alyssa Milano was a cute kid back in the 80s 2 Star Review
2004-07-18 - I used to be a really huge fan of Alyssa Milano, especially from 1988 to 1992 when she was the hottest teenage female actor. I had watched her back in 1984 on Who's the Boss and kept watching until it ended. I watched every television movie, any guest appearance, any awards show, anything she appeared in. I always looked for her music recordings, even though I knew they were only released in Japan. Amazon.com made it possible to obtain her CDs, but... I like the MUSIC of this cd. I am kind of disappointed because it doesn't even sound like her at all. I always thought she had such a sweet voice but you won't hear it in this cd. Her voice is very low (deep) and does not sound natural. It really does not sound like her at all. But the MUSIC is good because it's got that 80s pop sound. I don't regret getting this cd but I don't think I would listen to it too often though. I like her as an actor more than a singer.
