Batman - Return to the Batcave Reviews:
Fun, clever, and charmingly nostalgic 5 Star Review
2009-09-07 - While I did watch the Batman show as a kid (in reruns, not prime time)it wasn't my favorite. I've come to appreciate it more as I've grown older and actually get the jokes. Then I was just watching as a child, strictly for the plot.

The casting of the young Burt and Adam was perfect. I believed that this was the way it could have happened. The tone is the same as in the series.

I like to believe that Adam West and Burt Ward, despite the tabloid fodder they were from time to time, are nice people, enjoyed doing the show, and look back fondly on it.

It's a lot of fun. It zips along with no slow spots. I would not recommend it to someone who didn't watch and like the old series (or the movie). Only a person who has enjoyed that could appreciate and enjoy this.

Seeing Lyle Waggoner's screen test was really interesting and gave me an idea of how it could have been if other choices had been made. Waggoner's voice over narration in places is a delight and yet another in joke.

The movie is not an apology for the show but a celebration of it. Think about this: Could this show be made today? We're far too cynical to relax this much. Before our collective loss of innocence we could believe that good guys were good and bad guys were bad. No longer, sadly.

Now, Casablanca it ain't, but if you can relax enough to enjoy a little silliness then buy or at least rent Return To The Batcave.

the last batman episode 5 Star Review
2009-08-15 - this is the last batman episode and how is it great i only have the special episodes that are the movie and this one the series has not yet boxed set oficially but you can buy it in planet dvd store and and tv addicts buy that one batman the movie and this one now you will have the complete 60s batman series but do you look at adam and burt they are pretty old whell its because this was made in 2003 and the episode before in 1968 thats strange well this is not the normal plot of the episodes this happens in other dimension where batman is just a character and will batman and robin appear well let me answer nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!its about Adam West and Burt Ward they remember things about how they made the series.it had pretty funny scenes they mostly happened when Burt had accidents but the dynamic duo apeeared when Adam and Burt put in theyre costumes.

For old times sake! 4 Star Review
2009-07-26 - Batman - Return to the Batcave, reunites Adam West (Batman) and Burt Ward (Robin) for another ride in the batmobile. The two actors are invited to a charity to help raise money for orphans when someone steals the original batmobile and sets the dynamic duo on a chase the likes of which Batman and Robin would tackle without a second thought back in the day. The duo, however, will have to look for the answer in the past, and it has been a while...
Adam West, Burt Ward, and the rest of the cast, have carried out their performances well. The acting, the setting, the plot, and the dialogues are all good.
In short, Batman - Return to the Batcave is a movie definitely worth watching, and even though one cannot help but feel sorrow for years long gone, it will surely provide for some good insight into one of the most loved TV shows of the twentieth century.

    VERY INTERESTING! 4 Star Review
2009-04-04 - Truly an interesting DVD to own for any 60's Batman fan as I am. I meet Adam West and Burt Ward few years back at Comic Book show in Framingham Ma, they are funny and interesting in person as they were on this DVD. Worth the price to own and add to any collection.

Laughed till i cryed 5 Star Review
2008-11-27 - I always loved behind the scenes documentary's and with the twist of the batmobile being stolen was just priceless.

The last time you see frank gorshen (rest his soul) this is a hoot to all of those baby bloomers like myself and fans of television documentary's.
