Description of Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie:
If you're five to eight years old, get with some of your buddies, eat two bowls of Fruity Pebbles, scarf three packets of Pop Rocks, and snap your synapses into Power-Ranger Elysium with Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. If you're a parent and you don't know a Zord from a Zordon, get ready for one and a half hours (yep, one and a half hours) of enough mass marketing and mindless mayhem to destroy any resistance to the overt "buy this toy" messages contained therein. The evil Divatox, a busty space "piratess," kidnaps two former Power Rangers and it's up to the new Rangers to save their friends from becoming human sacrifices to an evil monster. The Rangers' leader, Zordon (who thinks up these names?), gives the new crew added "turbo" powers and presents them with their new Zords--turbo-powered cars. What's never explained is why there are former Power Rangers: do they get drummed out for not morphing (or morphing too much), or do the Rangers maintain the same policy as the once-famous Latino pop band, Menudo (replacing members once they get too old). There's an inordinate amount of the fake kung-fu kicking that made the TV show popular, and the villains are grotesque; but they're just shrieking punching bags. But the thought that Turbo is basically "the next generation" of Power Rangers is enough send chills up any parent's back. That's why kids love them so. --Keith Simanton

Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie Reviews:
    good times 5 Star Review
2008-08-15 - this is the 2nd major motion picture for the power rangers. It is not quite as good as the first movie. By this time they had a different pink power ranger, but the original amy jo johnson is in here for a few scenes. They have a different yellow ranger. Tommy is no longer the white ranger and is currently the red ranger. Rocky is in here for a short time, but gets hurt and a littel kid named billy becomes the blue ranger. I should also note their not the turbo rangers right away. In one scence, the pink ranger fell off a cliff and tried to morph into the zeo ranger outfit. Also, Lord Zedd and Rita make a cameo in this movie

Turbo Rangers Movie 5 Star Review
2008-07-22 - What can I say? It's the POWER RANGERS in all their glory! I got this a long time ago for my son (who's now 14) and got it again recently for my four year old granddaughter. She loves it. I've seen it more times than I can count. It's a good movie with lots of action ... and lots of power rangers. Go, go Power Rangers!!!

Shift into turbo 4 Star Review
2007-01-30 - This movie was first released way back in 1997 when I was 12 years old. It was a pretty cheap movie made for it;s time. It wasn't a super phonimal hit like batman and robin but it made a decent amount of money about 8 mil mlion world wide. In this movie were are introduced to the new ranger and there turbo zords. A word of warning this movie has some mild scary scenes in a couple of scenes with mild thematic elements, mild martial arts fighting scene. This movie should be fine for kids either 7 year old and up or ten years old and up depending on how pickey your parents or guardians are. In this storey the powers range face a new crish the wizard Lergiot as well as ex power rangers kimberly and Jason have been captured by the evil space Divatox. Can tommy and the other save them. This movie also introduces the newest ranger. My favorite character in the movie the new blue ranger justin who at the age of tennage is the youngest power ranger in the history of series every to be given the control over a zord. Can the rangers stop Divatox and save there friend and the wizard find out in the jaw dropping conclusion. For thoose of you this was not the last time the rangers dealt with Divatox shortly after this movie was air a Power Ranger Turbo Television series was aired. If you like this is also recomend plan Power Ranger the movie as well.

    good 5 Star Review
2007-01-04 - i have enjoyed this movie since i was a child and its a great movie.

    Seriously Lacking... 2 Star Review
2005-12-29 - I was extremely disappointed with this movie. This movie really sucks compared to the first one. First a kid named Justin becomes a Power Ranger after another one is injured and the character and the acting just doesn't cut it. What also sucks is that Kimberly and Jason from the original Mighty Morphin PRs are there and it is clear that Tommy still have feelings for Kimberly and as a fan of the Tommy/Kimberly romance Kat being there just ruins everything. Divatox is cool as a villian but doesn't compare to Rita and Ivan Ooze as she is too conceited and superficial which gets annoying after a while. Overall, at this point the series Power Rangers has changed so much that what made the Power Rangers popular is completely GONE. I can't even identify with the characters anymore. EVERYTHING has changed. The only thing I did like was the technological advances in their Zords and their gadgets. Thats it.
