Ten year old Bessie Higgenbottom is the world’s most ambitious Honeybee scout. As a member of the Honeybees, Bessie wears her uniform every day, leads her troop with heart and determination and has earned more Bee badges than any Honeybee in history, but there are still a few badges that elude her and she’s not stopping until she earns every last one of them! When Bessie needs inspiration, she imagines she's The Mighty B, a brave (and buff) superhero who can accomplish anything.

Description of The Mighty B!: We Got the Bee:
A Nickelodeon series created by Saturday Night Live's Amy Poehler, The Fairly Oddparents' Cynthia True, and SpongeBob Square Pants' Eric Wiese, Mighty B! is a fast-paced animated comedy about over-achiever Bessie Higgenbottom, a 9-3/4 year-old misfit who's enthusiastically taking on the world to earn the most Honeybee Scout badges she can in hopes of becoming the imaginary superhero "Mighty B." Bessie is surrounded by a wide variety of fellow Honeybee members and friends like the popular Portia, who's got an overabundance of attitude, Portia's second-in-command Gwen, the slow-witted Penny, a worshipping little brother Ben, an imaginary finger-friend, and her rescue-dog Happy. Bessie muddles her way through everything from joining a rock band to babysitting, rescuing and training a dog, campaigning for a ban against zucchini, camping out in the wilderness, and creating an intelligent robot for the science fair. Somehow, Bessie never quite realizes that she's an oddball whom the other kids are often laughing at which, of course, makes her every predicament that much funnier. What Bessie generally discovers as a result of her crazy adventures is that she really can do anything she puts her mind to and, while she may never ever earn enough badges to become the elusive Mighty B, perhaps Bessie is already a superhero in her own right. Bonus features include a 3-1/2 minute "meet the creators and cast" segment, a picture-in-picture comparison of the storyboards and finished episode "Bat Mitzvah Crashers," and a karaoke music video of "Running With the Rainbow Unicorn." The Mighty B!: We Got the Bee Reviews:
I'm a college graduate and still find this show hilarious! 5 Star Review
2009-10-01 - I have seen the Mighty B! several times on Nickelodeon and, unlike many animated shows, it managed to keep my attention and garner a few knee slappers. These episodes are fast-paced, witty, and genuinely hilarious. "We got the Bee" is my favorite, but all the episodes will leave you smiling. Great buy!

Perfect show for the entire family! 5 Star Review
2009-09-06 - I have a 5 1/2-year-old son and a 4-year-old son and the "The Mighty B!" is their favorite show. It is also one of the few shows that I truly enjoy watching with them, and we were all thrilled when it came out on DVD. It is very smartly written and brilliantly animated, unlike so many other cartoons, and we laugh together through every episode (the boys love to quote the lines). I would highly recommend this hilarious show to kids and adults alike. We can't wait for the new season to start!

We love the B!!!! 5 Star Review
2009-04-22 - We love the Mighty B and this video is great. We would love merchandise based on the Mighty B like t-shirts.

A "must-have" for kids and fun for parents too 5 Star Review
2009-04-04 - I purchased The Mighty B! We Got the Bee DVD for my daughter since she loves this show on Nickelodeon. When it arrived I ended up watching all the episodes with her. The main character, Miss Bessie is indeed a very funny, lovable and original character. I especially think her enthusiasm is refreshing- She is quirky and amusing without being snide in the least bit. My daughter and I laughed a lot at her clever dialogue and the story lines are great. I also liked the design of the characters, especially the mother and Happy. The whole look of the show is rich with its rolling hills in the background and the high angles in some scenes- it feels quite 3D! One more thing that is great about having this particular dvd on hand: I can pop it in while I am making dinner and the music and voices of this dvd are actually something I am happy to hear in the background. Hooray!

The best show ever! 5 Star Review
2009-03-18 - I love Mighty B! and I love Bessie Higgenbottom (and Happy, her dog). This show is very, very funny and Amy Poehler is great. I was very happy that my favorite episode, Sweet Sixteenth, is on this DVD. It is really funny and kind of gross in a good way. I like seeing how they make the show, too - they have included Bat Mitzvah Crashers in early form, which is very cool.
