This time, insurance clerks Larry (McCarthy) and Richard (Silverman) return to work after their originalweekend with Bernie (Kiser), only to discover they've been fired. And the $2 million Bernie stole from the company is stashed in the Virgin Islands. Ever resourceful, these two party animals head to the Caribbean, where a voodoo priestess resurrects Bernie from the dead so he can lead her to the money. Yeesh. The dead guy from Weekend at Bernie's is back for the gratuitous sequel, still flopping around in his lifelessness like a wet noodle and getting dragged, stuck, bumped, and subjected to all manner of undignified things the living would never tolerate. Jonathan Silverman and Andrew McCarthy return as hapless businessmen who flee to the Virgin Islands after being accused of embezzlement. For reasons we won't go into, they need Bernie's corpse to get out of a jam. McCarthy is annoyingly mannered, Silverman is on auto-pilot, and the visual jokes--all based on one form of desecration or another--do not strike any resonant black-comedy chords. --Tom Keogh

2009-01-24 - This old film is very funny, you can't stop smile, in this movie the bad boys make voodoo to bernie, but the voodoo make bad, bernie walk only hear music, the dvd disk have two faces, one face the format is Full Screen and other face the format is Widescreen, I recomend this Item, like movie I, this movie is excelent....
Another Childhood Favorite!!! 
2009-01-20 - This is a really good sequel! A week after the madness, Richard and Larry need to prove they didn't steal the money, so they take Bernie's body from the morgue and go to the Virgin Islands. Charles and Henry got hold of Bernie before Richard and Larry and performed Voodoo in order to bring Bernie back from the dead, so they can find the money. Unfortunately, they do it wrong and can only walk when music is playing. Will zombie Bernie lead the guys to the money before Richard dies from a poisonous drink? I highly recommend WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S II!!!

2009-01-18 - I needed the DVD the next day, so I purchased the more expensive shipping option. However, I was still a little concerned that since it was around the holiday that it wouldn't come in the next day...but it did!
