UK pressing of the teen queen's 2008 album featuring three bonus tracks: 'Invisible', 'Pieces Of Me' and 'Boyfriend'. Bittersweet World is the third studio album by singer Ashlee Simpson. She worked on the album with producers Timbaland, Chad Hugo, and Kenna. It has been described by Simpson as a "fun party album" with a "silly and quirky" side and some influence from 1980s music. She describes it as having a more beat-oriented sound than her first two albums, Autobiography and I Am Me, although still retaining some of those albums' guitar-based sound. Polydor.

2009-12-17 - This song & the others on the cd are generic. It isn't any good, in my opinion. Plus, she has a trash mouth & uses her trashy life to write some of these songs. It's a no-brainer.....skip this cd.

2009-12-17 - Why is this woman a star? Has our mental capacity seriously dropped this low in society that Ashlee Simpson got a record deal? And possibly more who knows? This is the message we're sending girls? Be a shallow air head, lip sing, and get drunk at McDonalds and crawl on the counter like Ms Simpson? I have never met Ms Simpson. I don't need to...and not only that, the girl cant sing to save her life! Its pitiful.
Absolutely horrendous!
2009-12-14 - I don't know why I even thought I would enjoy this CD. I should have known it was going to be awful (it's sung by Ashlee Simpson, after all). The CD makes it abundantly clear that Ashlee can not sing. Give it about 2 weeks and its going to be in the discount bin at the Dollar Tree. I found this CD to be incredibly boring, poorly sung, utterly pointless, and a bit narcissistic. Don't be fooled by the title -- BITTERSWEET WORLD. There is absolutely nothing sweet about this "singer" or CD .
What a complete piece of trash
2009-12-13 - What a sorry excuse for an album. I WAS a Ashlee fan till she came out with this and when she slammed Britney Spears. Ashlee, Britney is the Queen of pop, you're the queen of failure.
Tiring....
2009-12-11 - Ashlee Simpson's "Bittersweet World" is an excessive foray into mindless self indulgence. There's nothing remotely interesting about the singer, nor her tiring album. Most of the songs sound the same, lacking any sense of urgency or danceable beat. She sprinkles rap into them to make them even more annoying. I can't recommend this in any case.
