UK pressing of the teen queen's 2008 album featuring three bonus tracks: 'Invisible', 'Pieces Of Me' and 'Boyfriend'. Bittersweet World is the third studio album by singer Ashlee Simpson. She worked on the album with producers Timbaland, Chad Hugo, and Kenna. It has been described by Simpson as a "fun party album" with a "silly and quirky" side and some influence from 1980s music. She describes it as having a more beat-oriented sound than her first two albums, Autobiography and I Am Me, although still retaining some of those albums' guitar-based sound. Polydor.

2009-11-09 - Listening to this album was torture. Trashlee, sorry I mean Ashlee, cant sing to save her life. Her voice is just awful, save your money.

2009-11-07 - This is the perfect gift for that special someone that you absolutely hate. Wait until you see the look on their face when they open "Bittersweet World," only to find out you have lost the receipt.
UTTER GARBAGE
2009-11-05 - I admit, as embarrassed as I may be I got kinda sucked in by Simpson's "outta my head". Me coming from an electronic background was kinda looking forward to "bittersweet world". I saw it for sale for only $10 so I broke one of my cardinal rules & picked it up without first giving it a proper preview. BIG MISTAKE!!! (And the music industry is wondering why so many people illegally DL music; don't know, but releases like this might have something to do with it.) The rest of the album is nothing like "pop rock", the music itself I guess isn't horrible, but the moment you hear Ashlee's voice it completely ruins whatever said song may've had going for it. This album has some of the most retarded lyrics I've heard in a long time. I know pop music is generally geared towards a younger crowd, but this? I could swear this chick is singing & trying get freaky with pre-school & kindergartners. I really don't have anything good to say about this album at all unless you're an 11 year little boy in which case read a book little dude, just beware, this CD really, REALLY SUCKS!

2009-11-05 - What's with all these celebrities that think they "have" to sing? Ashleee is awful at singing. The music industry has gone too far down hill, they'll make money off anybody. Just about everybody can drop an album. This is not Ashlee's calling!

2009-11-05 - I don't care what people say, not everyone is designed to sing or play an instrument.. and unfortunately for Ashlee, she is one of those. This album is brain bleeding bad.. in fact, so bad that I deleted the tunes from my computer and then tossed the CD.
