Editorial Review:
With a new album months away at the least, the Backstreet Boys usher in spring 2001 with a set of six-cut EPs, For the Fans. Good news: The price is much lower than what U.S. fans usually pay for foreign releases of this type of in-concert stuff. The bad news is that each disc features three of the same tracks--the thoughtful, previously import-only "That's What She Said"; Black and Blue's so-so "It's True"; and an a cappella version of "All I Have to Give" (billed as the recording's first appearance). The onstage tracks feature vocals prominently high in the mix, presumably to show off the Boys' skills and, perhaps, to override any live-or-Memorex questions. On this CD, those songs are "Larger Than Life," "Back to Your Heart," and "All I Have to Give." --Rickey Wright

FOR THE FANS - CD 1 - BACKSTREET BOYS 5 Star Review
2009-05-08 - Very interesting study. I can never say anything bad about the BSB products I've bought on amazon. I've been pleased with everything.

All you people can't you see cant you see ........BSB 4 Life 5 Star Review
2005-03-04 - I really liked the 3 BSB's cds that were available at one of my favorite fast food joints when I was really fat (maxed out at about 204 at the tender agae of 14 in 1996. When these cds came out at Burger Kings i was still battling the demons of obesity. I lost a bunch of wieght in 1997 and 1998 after walking the trail with my Dad but in 1999 and 2000 I did not walk hardly at all and my weight balloned to about 180 when it was previously at about 165. So I had a major dilemia when these cds came out because I wanted them but i didnt really want to eat the BK that came with these cds. So I had my mother get them and she would usually eat the BK. Occasionally i would get a Chicken BK Broiler (now changed to teh Chicken Whooper) w/out mayo and try to go light on the fries. Now I have slimmed down to 159.5 lbs and have ran 102 straight days with my dad. I love to run and listen to the BSB but not at the same time because I talk to my daddy about sports and politics.....JK you are my real oresident. Anyhow I reccomend this CD and series. If you dont want to buy the sucker just get it off a music sharing company. Long live the BSB, losing weight and John Kerry. F-Fatty foods, Bush and documentaries not made by Michael Moore.

I loved it!! 5 Star Review
2001-10-13 - I loved all of the cd's from this series. It was like being back at their concert!!! The songs that werent released (which now are) when the cd came out were so great!!! It is just an all around good cd:)

Pretty cool - the BSB are the best! 5 Star Review
2001-08-31 - FOR THE FANS CD #1 is a great collectors' item for all BSB fans. Every true fan must own this - and the rest of the CDs in this collection, too...and the video that goes along with them! On this CD, there are live versions of "Larger Than Life", "Back To Your Heart", and "All I Have To Give" which were taken from their 'Into The Millennium' tour. It also features studio-recorded songs such as "It's True" - a beautiful ballad, cowritten by Kevin - from their amazing album, BLACK & BLUE. "That's What She Said" is more like Brian's solo. It's one of their older songs off their Import album called BACKSTREET'S BACK, which is also an amazing album. And then they do an a cappella version of "All I Have To Give" which shows their true vocal and harmony talent (the BSB can sing MUCH better a cappellas than that horrible, wannabe group *N SYNC!). And finally, we get into a hidden track which is by the artist known as Krystal and it's called "My Religion". It's a very awesome song and Krystal has a ton of talent. She's also the first artist off the BSB's new record label and has the same management team - the Firm - as the BSB. In fact, the Boys discovered her! Anyways, I truly recommend that you get this CD 'cause it's totally worth it. I know the last four songs on this CD are on all three of them but just getting all three CDs for the live songs is totally worth it! Buy this CD and every other Backstreet Boys CD today! You will not be disappointed.
