One of the best songs from "Millennium" 
2000-08-19 - Although this song was only at number one for a week, it is still one of most successful songs of the year 2000! It was the first video played on New Year's Eve on Much Music, it debuted on the Top 40 countdown at number 16, etc. And it's easy to see why. It is such a beautiful song! Anyone who has expirenced loss can relate to it. The B-sides are great, too--Brian's voice is so sweet in "I'll Be There For You," and "You Wrote the Book on Love" is really cute. Get it, you won't regret it!!!!
SMTMOBL is the best song, especially the video!
2000-08-06 - I would say that "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" is the best song. It has good lyrics in it. Not only the song is great, but the video is good as well. In the video, you see Brian in the hospital, A.J. in the bus, Kevin in his apartment, Nick is walking the street and Howie is in a cafe shop.
I would give the video 5/5 because it is sad and they are lonely.
At the end of the video, they all come together.
I give the song and the video Two Thumbs Up!
P.S.: My favorite backstreet boys are: Nick Carter and Brian Littrell.

2000-07-27 - This is an awesome CD single. If you love Howie then you will love this because track two is absolutely Howie's voice. He is the only one that sings this song. And if you have seen their Homecoming Concert video then you would know this song because Howie sings it for his solo part. Track three is adorable as well. Brian and Nick sing this one mostly. I absolutely love it! :o)

2000-07-22 - I love "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" anytime I hear that song I think about what Howie, A.J., Brian, and Kevin went through and it helps me cope with my problems. Whenever I'm feeling sad or down I can just listen to that song and feel better about my problems because the Boys all had a little problem let it be a loved one dying or a sibling. They bypassed their problems and became the best group in the world of the late 90s decade so if you think about it the backstreetboys are very strong. The song and video is very strong and powerful.

2000-07-04 - Okay, I don't know why this Millennium-drawn song didn't reach No. 1, could be due to its sad tone. Mother and I like it, though, and I think that this is their best song to date. Even "I Want It That Way" might be deemed second-best compared to this!
