Completly disapointed 
2009-12-16 - As a non Manilow listener, I bought this for my wife who loves his music, not knowing much about his cd's I thought this would be a nice gift, well it seems this is a release of his old songs from 2007 with two(2) new ones added.
She already has the original one and the 2 new songs does not justify the cost of a new cd, she and I are very disappointed in Amazon and the lack of info on this CD.
My advice to people considering buying anything on Amazon and other sites is to read the reviews first before buying as I should have done.
BUY all 3 of Manilow's CHRISTmas CD's 
2009-12-15 - I have all 3 of Barry Manilow's CHRISTmas CD's.Each one is different,and I enjoy them all.The first one recorded in 1990,"Because its CHRISTmas"is my favorite.If you don't have that one,GET IT.The CD's like a concept record and each track blends into the next song,and there's alot of original Music.
The next one recorded around 2003 has a Big Band song,and I LOVE "THe River" by Joni Mitchell the most,along with "I got my love to keep me warm,Happy Holidays,"and "What are you doing New Years Eve."
Barry's newest record,"In the Swing of CHRISTmas" is just as wonderfull,starting out with Barry singing all the vocals on "Silver Bells." Its amazing all the harmonies are his own voice.That has to be hard,Then the next track,"Carol of the bells/Jingle Bells" really gets moving.Streisand had this same arangment on her album,but then Manilow goes right into "I LOVE thoes J.I.N.G.L.E. Bells"I can't get enough of this track,I also love "Count your blessings" from "White CHRISTmas."The record ends with a Manilow original"CHRISTmas is just around the corner."This song sounds like its been out for years.I really enjoyed "In the Swing of CHRISTmas," but PLEASE get his first one,"Because its CHRISTmas."Its one of my all time favorites .

2009-11-27 - I have grown to expect so much more from Barry Manilow recordings -- at least a full orchestra. This was not a treat.
Old Favorites by an old favorite
2009-11-23 - Admit it or not, who hasn't liked Barry Manilow at some point in their lives? This CD is mostly the old Christmas standards with a few non-traditional. It's dinner background music. Nice piano, relaxing, familiar.

2009-10-23 - This is a rereales of the 2007 one that Hallmark put out. The rereales puts two new songs on it at the end. It just adds to a really great one.
