The right night & Barry White--inseperable 
2009-09-22 - Probably one of the better records Mr. White ever cut. Not worthy of notice to general consumers, delectable to fans of the Man. Dig this: "Sho' you right about the night and you right about us." Man.
A solid comeback album. 
2008-11-18 - In 1987, the late Barry White signed with A&M Records and released this CD which was a welcome comeback for him. Steamy, sensuous and unabashedly romantic ballads like "Love Is In Your Eyes", "Share", "For Your Love (I'll Do Most Anything)", "There's A Place Where Love Never Ends" and "The Right Night" are vintage-flavored and (despite the subtle use of programmed drum machines, keyboards and synthesizers) make for a truly enjoyable listening experience. True, this album did not sell as well as 1991's "Put Me In Your Mix" or 1994's platinum-plus "The Icon Is Love" but I highly recommend it to all fans of romantic Soul.
Every Night is Right with Mr. White 
2000-09-21 - Released during a period of lackluster activity wherein "The Maestro" was being overshadowed by the likes of Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill, and other romantic crooners, "The Right Night & Barry White" is an effort that deserved greater attention than it received. The album represents some of the artist's best 80's work.
Featuring "Sho You Right," a highly charged dance tune that has White's signature saying, the disc has other equally satisfying selections. The evocative "For Your Love (I'll Do Anything)" is so stimulating that it sets fire to one's sound system. "There's a Place (Where Love Never Ends," like most of White's work showcases the rhythm and string sections, respectively. Their use never overshadows White's strong vocals; they are a perfect accompaniment to Barry's "basso profundo."
The remaining cuts are superbly delivered with the passion and musical wizardry that one expects from the man who made the bedroom his melodic playground.
