Into Your Head Reviews:
A good sophomore effort by BBMak
2008-07-31 - Into Your Head is an easy album to listen to. My favorite songs are "Run Away," "Get You Through The Night," and "Everything," though all songs are pretty nice to tune into from time to time.
Some songs are a bit cheesy and the rhyming is a bit too much. Not all the songs are catchy listens either. But, this CD shines for the most part. I can tell BBMak worked hard to polish CD, and it's a shame it didn't receive as much acclaim as their first CD.
Nonetheless, I am still a fan of BBMak, and Into Your Head is another great collection of songs by the British trio.

Into The Rock
2006-08-17 - In 2000 BB Mak debuted in the US one year behind UK and Japan with huge hit of BACK HERE and its follow-up in 2002 got less promotion than the debut.
Well in my opinion the second one is far better than the debut with tighter arrangement yet their beautiful harmony comparable with that of Taxiride and Nelson kept intact.
Second track STARING INTO SPACE is such Beatles/A-Ha styled pop and rock unrivalled with the exception of probably TAXIRIDE or REMBRANDTS. Third track GET YOU THROUGH THE NIGHT sounds GOO GOO DOLLS and TAXIRIDE combined. Beautiful melodies go on after that. RUN AWAY and SYMPATHY show their excellent chorus reminding me of Nelson twins.
Overall every track is vivid with melody and hook and classic. Personally I welcome their change of music approach into more of rock with tighter and crisp arrangement closer toward Nelson and Survivor.
Verdict: Better than the debut. More adult rock oriented.
Rating: 94 out of 100
Recommended for: Nelson and Taxiride fans. Wide range of pop rock fans of 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s.
BBMak heads in rock direction
2006-07-22 - Although I like BBMak's first CD, Sooner Or Later, I love their sophomore CD, Into Your Head, even more. Too bad they broke up. They were very talented and their music was refreshing compared to a lot of junk that is on the radio these days.
On Into Your Head, the band was starting to head into a more rock direction, helping to shed the "boy band" label that critics had lumped them into. As far as the songwriting, the lyrics are more mature than on their debut CD.
Pretty much, if you enjoy the softer rock sounds of Matchbox 20 or Lifehouse, you will enjoy BBMak's sophomore album.
Good Follow Up
2006-04-17 - I think this was a good follow up to the first album. But as other reviews have said, it is too bad that BBMak broke up. This album just went to show that the guys had great harmony and could write catchy stuff!
Out Of My Heart; Sounds very much like it came off the first album, "Sooner or Later".
Staring into Space: Very cool and kind of funky like a 60es song. I could almost hear this played by the Beatles or something.
I would recommend this CD to everyone, BBMak lover or not. It is just too bad that we didn't have a chance to see what else this group would put out in time. They certainly had the potential to be much bigger than they were!
