Looney Tunes: Spotlight Collection, Vol. 7 Reviews:
Read the Reviews Before Buying 1 Star Review
2009-12-14 - If you have Volumes 1, 2, & 3, you have all the Tunes that are on this Spotlight 7 collection. Disk 1 contains Tunes from Volume 1 (Disk 1) and Volume 2 (Disk 2). Disk 2 Tunes are all from Volume 3 (Disk 3). To me, Disk 2 is not worth owning; I do not watch it from my Volume 3 collection.

Big Let Down 1 Star Review
2009-12-13 - It will be a rough christmas with no new/old Bugs Bunny. Someone needs to inform the number crunchers at WB that all audiences are not created equal. This is important work. And fun. Even if the sets have to be smaller-release the stuff in 2 dvd sets-but release the stuff we don't have. We want it. please.

    Toons, please... 4 Star Review
2009-10-18 - Yes, I was waiting for another set of four DVDs the make my October a bit brighter.

But the focus has shifted. I'd think they'd want to make the collections as thorough as possible, or the remaining toons may not be marketable as "for kids"....some of the stronger race cartoons remain, as do some not seen since initial release. And some of the early ones involve jokes about prohibition. The pre- Hayes cartoons deal with other matters. The question is---what will they do?

By the book that was put out some time ago, there was a count of some 1000 short subjects. I've seen a good number of them. Some like "Vox Pop" are awful....people put out bootlegged collections of the shorts.

But the cartoons listed with this collection seem to be more sanitized and safe for the younger minds to settle on, deal with safes falling from the sky, explosives and idiots.

Spotlight Collection great for the budget collector! 4 Star Review
2009-10-05 - For me, these spotlight collections are perfect. I'm only interested in the cartoons and not the extra stuff. My only hope is that they continue to release new cartoons in this format.

Give the fans what they want 1 Star Review
2009-09-18 - I agree with the reviewer from Norway, WB should give the fans what they want. I don't understand why did WB decided to discontinue the Golden Collection series when it seems to be doing very well and getting very good reviews from fans. I hope to see more new Looney Tunes releases in the future and not recycled previously released titles.

    Regards
