The Broad Street Bully Reviews:
Consistently hot--not a bad track here 5 Star Review
2009-09-17 - I like this kinda hip hop. Here there's no club bangers or radio-friendly hits. All you'll find here are simple, but effective beats mostly consisting of piano and drum sets. Beanie Sigel and his contributors spit flames on this disc, sounding hungry and ready to reinvigorate the hip hop game. I bought another album from Sigel called The B. Coming, and that was nice, but with this disc all 12 tracks can be played from beginning to end and not even Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 can say that. Not to mention the tracks bang hard enough for working out, driving, or lounging out. If you know Beanie Sigel, you know this will be quality. This may not have been worthy of 5 stars in the 90s, but now it rises above 90% of the other stuff out there.

Should you buy?? 3 Star Review
2009-09-10 - I'm a big fan of Beans, that's why i'm writing this review (plus no one else really said anything about it). So if you've been down with him since "the truth" keep reading.
first off, i don't consider this a full album, i think it's something for the fans to bump until he drops "the ignorance" (i think that's the name of his next album, because he says something about it in the intro) but anyway. it's a VERY short album (shorter than freeways "freeway 2") it has 12 (11 if you exclude the intro) songs that average a little over 3 mins each. so in that aspect it's kinda disappointing. NONE of the songs are wack though. i just finished my first listen so i don't want to grade each song yet, but just off the back i know none were wack. i give it 3 stars mainly cause it's so short. i will say i enjoyed this one more than "freeway 2" (i have to listen to that again also), speaking of freeway, him young chris (who has greatly improved) and omilio sparks all feature in at least 2 songs each. (side note: i think they threw a couple of words/jabs to jay on the track "run to the roc")... back to the review, if you liked the truth, the reason, the b.coming (my favorite) and the solution (my least favorite out of the bunch), then this will be a good addition to hold you over. but it's no where near as good as that bangn ass mix tape he did with the green lantern a while back. but over all if you like sige just cop!! it's bad enough he didn't have no publicity nor any type of marketing, i don't even remember how i found out about this album!! (oh yea,[...] had his song "The ghetto" and i looked for it here on amazon).. again, short but good.. drop another banga MAC!!!

5th solo is a decent one 4 Star Review
2009-09-09 - It's been 21 months since Sigel's last album, and he returns quietly releasing this one. Of his 5 solo albums, 2 I'd give 4.5 stars ("The Reason" & "The B.Coming") and his other 3 I'd give 4 stars (with "The Truth" a notch above, had a lot of great songs but also a few average or skippable ones). He has also been a part of 4 or so State Property albums over the years as well and put out 2 "Public Ememy" mixtapes, although he has only been in the rap game since around 1998, he has a long catalog of albums. This one is his shortest, with only 11 songs. 2 of them are ok, 1 is almost a classic, the other 8 I'd say are good, but no classics on here. Guests are on 7 of the 11 songs. Production is decent, Batkave does 1, Hazebanga does 1, and Beanie Sigel production Team (whoever that is) does the other 9. For his fans of State Prop fans I'd pick this one up, though he has done better work it's still a 4 star effort and a decent album to have.

dope cd from beans 4 Star Review
2009-09-09 - i really give it a 3.5 but four is the only available rating. beans delivers lyrically although some of the beats are dope but some are a lil too generic which is why it keeps this from getting a solid four. this release came out of nowhere which is why it is a pleasant surprise to hear. keep ya head up beans you still the man big homie! the ? is... is he still with jay or not because he doesnt appear on the album at all?!?
