Interview: Paul Mccartney (1964-1966) Reviews:
Sound bites from the young Macca
2004-03-29 - Most of these Paul McCartney interviews were included on the old 1964 vinyl LP, "The Beatles Story." Most Beatles fans will already own this and recall those snippets. The audio quality is suspect throughout and there is absolutely nothing new or revealing included here, but still... there is something enigmatic and magical about the young Paul. The bulk of the interviews were donew in February, 1964, during the Beatles first visit to America. Paul is hastily interviewed in NYC, Miami and Washington, D.C. by various American reporters. The questions are predictable, flat and inexplicably repeated throughout the disc: "Why is your hair so long?" "Do you miss Liverpool?"
If you're a die-hard Beatles fanatic, this is a must have, but if you're a casual variety Beatles fan, pass this one up. Still, if Macca rocks your world, this will do you nicely.
A Bit of Beatle Interview Bliss
2000-06-25 - This CD is a must have for the definitive Beatles fan. It's a great interview that contains that quick Beatle wit, that we all love.
