Editorial Review:
The classic original Beatles studio albums have been re-mastered by a dedicated team of engineers at Abbey Road Studios in London over a four year period utilising state of the art recording technology alongside vintage studio equipment, carefully maintaining the authenticity and integrity of the original analogue recordings. The result of this painstaking process is the highest fidelity the Beatles catalogue has seen since its original release.

Within each CD's new packaging, booklets include detailed historical notes along with informative recording notes. For a limited period, each CD will also be embedded with a brief documentary film about the album. The newly produced mini-documentaries on the making of each album, directed by Bob Smeaton, are included as QuickTime files on each album. The documentaries contain archival footage, rare photographs and never-before-heard studio chat from The Beatles, offering a unique and very personal insight into the studio atmosphere.

Description of With The Beatles (Remastered):
They still had plenty of covers to fill out the running time, but the Lennon-McCartney writing team was gathering steam and beginning to knock out pop classics as if they were pulling them out of thin air. "All My Loving" and "I Wanna Be your Man" come from this record, issued hurriedly to capitalize on English Beatlemania. But even when they were laying into some classic Chuck Berry, by this time the Beatles had acquired a unique sound in the blend of John's and Paul's voices, while George was coming on by leaps and bounds as a guitar player. While not absolutely essential, as a snapshot of a band in a place and time, With the Beatles is good for a smile. --Chris Nickson

With The Beatles (Remastered) Reviews:
Also great in stereo 5 Star Review
2009-11-26 - I was a bit worried about the stereo version, after all what has been written about the limitation of the two tracks recordings. Actually it's very good and makes for a new listening experience if you are used to the mono version.
The album itself is of course damn good. Money and Please Mr Postman are Rock'n Roll at is best !
Worth it for sure !

Beatles 4 Star Review
2009-11-14 - If you listened and enjoyed the original music of the Beatles'; you will certainly enjoy the remixed sounds with all the new toys and gadgets we have today to listen to them with. Great Sound.

The change is barely discernable 5 Star Review
2009-11-03 - For me the ostensible improvement is barely discernable. It was not really that important. I was actually looking to replace old CDs. The phenomenon of the Group is the point for me. These four guys found themselves in a musical zone that few can even contemplate. Therefore it is a good collectors item.

You are going to Love It! 5 Star Review
2009-10-18 - You love the Beatles? Then you will love the remastered versions.
That's it short and sweet.

The mono mix is still superior 3 Star Review
2009-10-17 - If you enjoy the stereo effect of "music on the left, vocals on the right"...then this is right up your alley...

As was true with the first album ...This recording lacks the drive The Beatles were known for.

I did what many of you did back on Sept 9th....purchased the entire STEREO catalogue of remasters...and then proceeded to listen to them....only to be very disappointed with many of the stereo mixes

My solution was to go ahead and purchase the MONO REMASTER BOX....it contains the first 10 Beatle albums (up thru the WHITE ALBUM) in true MONAURAL sound...They sound the way The Beatles intended you to hear them...and they capture all the energy and definition of a real Beatle performance.

The benefit of having the STEREO REMASTERS....the enclosed booklet and outer jacket are easily worth the $12....

They should have included BOTH stereo and mono mixes in the remaster package..sort of how they did with the CAPITOL ALBUM BOX SETS
