The Beatles - Live At Shea Stadium Reviews:
Shea Stadium 'Revisited'
2008-01-20 - Great to see my favorite band doing some of my favorite songs using my favorite instruments of theirs again.
Film was complete (with Sounds Unlimited, King Curtis, Murray the K, etc.)
Obviously dubbed from the TV film, but at least it's AVAILABLE in this form unlike any product of Apple Records, Ltd. (REAL Ltd.!!!...Where's
"Let It Be" in DVD and the digitally remastered Fab catalog???)
However, having 'Shea' in one's library is a definite PLUS!
The Beatles - Live At Shea Stadium
2007-12-11 - As a lifelong Beatles fan I was delighted to find the DVD "The Beatles - Live At Shea Stadium". I had bits and pieces of this historic performance and had always wanted to have the full concert performance of the Beatles as I had seen this live when I was 10 years old on the ABC broadcast of this event. Never seeing the FAB 4 live in person myself, this was a real find to get the entire Beatles performance on DVD. I didn't know this was available until I saw it listed on Amazon!
excelente
2007-10-22 - excelente espero muestren mas productos de este tipo , como el concierto del parque del candelabro el ultimo que realizaron
The best
2007-08-05 - Its an interesting look back. To me to watch the crowd react the way they did. They were four Elvis all in one group. The music was great. Photography fabulous. The Beatles sure knew how to rock -n- roll.
The Beatles at Shea Stadium, historic show, poor copy.
2005-10-03 - Even if you don't like The Beatles or are too young to even be aware of their impact, this is a mind shattering event, historically the most important concert event in rock, in that it created the 'stadium concert.' The staggering crowd reaction dwarfs anything before or since, how The Beatles were able to manage a show at all in light of the unprecedented hysteria is beyond explaination. Since then, fans all over the globe have waited patiently for a restored, remastered and Apple sanctioned DVD of the most incredible show The Beatles ever did. Although it's worth getting to see the show if you never have, this is not an Apple sanctioned release and compared to the real restored footage seen in Anthology, this barely rates a star. It's washed out color-wise and not really up to the standard of other bootleg releases. I personally own a boot of the show that is far and away better, sharper, better color saturation and not fluttering at the bottom of the picture as this one is. The beginning of the DVD even has enough nerve to claim that it is an Apple release, which it is not. This is also not a 'silver' sealed DVD, it's a DVD-R with a paper label, not silk screened. As if Apple would release such a shoddy product. We'll all have to wait for the real deal a bit longer, because this just isn't it.
