Editorial Review:
The Beatles London is a detailed investigation of the legendary group at this point of their career, and is guaranteed to provide new insights.
Presented by Richard Porter, founder of the London Beatles Fan Club and author of the `Guide to the Beatles London', the program takes the viewer to the key Beatles' sights of London, such as EMI Studio and the iconic pedestrian crossing at Abbey Road; Beatles' homes in London; Decca Studios where the Beatles failed their audition and more.
The Concise Beatles London Reviews:
Very Cool.....
2008-06-21 - I've read about these Beatle tours and always dreamed of taking one. Well.....this DVD is probably as close as I will ever come. I really enjoyed it and very happy that I invested the few bucks it cost. Really, you can't go wrong. They did a great job in putting this together. Highly recommended.....
Great Historical Tour
2008-04-12 - The Concise Beatles London captures your attention from beginning to end. Primarily presented by the quirky but interesting and extremely knowledgeable Beatles Fan Club founder Richard Porter, you are lead through a fascinating tour of all the Beatles landmarks that you've seen in books but not firsthand. From the Asher residence where Paul lived in the mid to late 1960s to Buckingham Palace where the Fab 4 once held their MBE medals with a proud broad grin, The Concise Beatles London DVD gives you the opportunity to visit Beatles London minus the expensive flight and hotel trip fees. At $12.99 per disc, The Beatles Concise London is a steal. Highly recommended for rock and roll and history buffs, and of course for Beatlemaniacs like yours truly.
Best Beatle video tour
2007-12-17 - I have bought 3 different Beatle Liverpool video tours. I love this one more because Mr. Porter; Founder of the London Beatles fan club, takes the viewer inside the locations of the EMI Recording studios, the Queens Royal
command performance, and famous nightspots, & places associated with Beatles history. I felt like I took the trip of my life without leaving my easy chair.
If You`re interested in Beatles, this one is for You!!!
2007-07-12 - This is a very interesting walk through the Londons Beatles places and the guy, who leads the show (Richard) knows every little thing about the Beatles and places, where he takes you. There are the clubs, where the Beatles used to go, there are concert placec, Abbey Road studio and so on. I recommend this item to everybody
