  • Editorial Review:
Obviously the Disney suits gave more than two figs about the legacy from the first Beast film, as they reassembled the former cast and spent some cash on production and tune-smithing for this straight-to-video effort. The events unfold between the time in the first film where Belle bartered herself to the Beast and her later return to the village to save her father. So the Beast's heart still hasn't been melted yet, and he's susceptible to the inky persuasions of Forte (Tim Curry), a malevolent pipe organ (and former music teacher to the prince). Belle is still trying to win over the Beast and decides that bringing Christmas to the castle will be the way to do it. Please control that gag reflex for this does work remarkably well, and though entirely unnecessary and certainly not a complement to the original, it doesn't tarnish its good name. --Keith Simanton

Beauty and the Beast - The Enchanted Christmas (Special Edition) Reviews:
Couldn't be happier 5 Star Review
2009-10-28 - Collecting Disney Dvd's for my family and grandchildren. Very please with how quickly I received it in the mail and in perfect condition. Extremely pleased.

    great gift 4 Star Review
2009-10-26 - I bought this for my girlfriend who is a huge disney fanatic. She absolutely loved the movie. Alhtough it was a little darker than I expected I thouroughly enjoyed because it was. It's nice to see there is more to disney cartoons than sunshine and fairy tales.

Loved it as a little girl 4 Star Review
2009-08-25 - I first watched this movie when I was about 10 years old, as a family. We bought it out holiday shopping, then my dad, mom, my little sister and I all watched it together.
My little sister was about 6 or 7 and we both loved it. (and my parents). Now 12 years later I don't remember anything extremely dark or scary. I only remember the songs and story of the movie. Who cares if it isn't 100% believable to an ADULT that it happened during the first film. To a child it never even crosses your mind.
This is a great family movie. It is in no way as good as the original, but what Disney sequel/holiday movie ever is? This is one of the best ones though.
Loved it then, love it now.

Beauty and the Beast - The Enchanted Christmas (Special Edition) 5 Star Review
2009-07-05 - Great condition, Great price. I've tried for a couple of years
to buy this movie and now found it on Amazon. Thank you.

    Touching Story 4 Star Review
2009-04-22 - In this volume of Beauty and the Beast they have an amazing 3-D of one of the characters. Also it a heartwarming story leading up to the grand ballroom dance. Although, I must amitted that the waiting of the delivery was a little longer than I would have like it.
