Editorial Review:
During breaks in productions from "7th Heaven", Beverley Mitchell frequently traveled to Nasville where she co-wrote and recorded songs for this debut album. From songs about standing up for what you believe in to bittersweet ballads about life and loss, this album has something for every country music fan.
Description of Beverley Mitchell:
The image of Beverley Mitchell in a cowboy hat is going to take a little getting used to for WB viewers--as far-reaching a show as 7th Heaven is, it doesn't venture much into honky-tonk territory. But that's no reason for a country girl to keep quiet, as Mitchell makes abundantly clear in this old-fashioned and sweet-sounding debut. If there's a theme here, it's '70s-style straightforwardness and simplicity: "You Didn't Kiss Me," a sad rumination on a missing goodnight kiss, is as artfully achy as anything Tanya Tucker ever recorded, and "Walkin'," an upbeat number about emotional backsliding, also smacks of a sincerer decade gone by. Credit for the songs' relate-ability goes partially to Mitchell, who co-wrote half of them. But aside from the songwriters' talent for winding homesickness, heartsickness, hopefulness, and humility into pretty songs, there's something to be said for this lovely album's production--it's as crisp and clear as the deep-running creek Mitchell sings of on the opening track "Heaven on Earth down Here." --Tammy La Gorce
Beverley Mitchell Reviews:
Beverly Mitchell
2008-07-25 - My daughter got into 7th Heaven this last year and watched it from beginning to end. She loves this CD. I do too it is really good.
I don't know how many times we have listened to it, but it has been quite a bit. She is not just a great actress she has a great voice.

Pretty Amazing...
2008-07-06 - Truth be told, when I heard Beverly Mitchell was putting out a CD I was thinking - Great! Another actress trying to be a singer. But really this is a BRILLIANT CD and I recommend it to anyone that loves good music. I really loved "what am I doing here" and "Angel"
Can't wait for a new album
Cute girl, sing like angel
2008-01-29 - I'm so glad that Beverly Mitchell came out with a cd. The first time my wife heard her sing was when she was on 7th Heaven. She said that girl sings like a angel. I brought the cd for my wife and she loves every song on the cd. She can not wait until Beverly comes out with another cd. If my wife and I could rate this cd with more stars we would.
Gifted Gal
2008-01-26 - I truly enjoy this young lady's music. She needs to make more.
She is a joy to listen to.
Come on "Luc" you can do it!
Wow! A Pleasant Surprise
2008-01-05 - Despite the contradictions of some of the songs with others on the CD, Ms. Mitchell has a pleasant voice and the tunes are generally well-produced and catchy.
She's no Shania Twain, Faith Hill, or Martina McBride, but surely there's room in Nashville for more contributions from Ms. Mitchell. I look forward to hearing from her (and buying her next offering) in the not-to-distant future.
