Editorial Review:
DEJA VU is the first electrifying single from Beyonce's forthcoming album B'DAY. Features JAY-Z and was co-produced by Beyonce and Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins. Beyonce also served as co-producer, writer and arranger for the entire B'DAY album, guests on B'DAY include The Neptunes, Rich Harrison (Beyonce 'Crazy in Love' & Amerie '1 Thing') and Swizz Beatz. Beyonce's new album is the artist's first full-length solo work since her multi-platinum 2003 solo debut, "Dangerously In Love," which earned her five 2004 Grammy Awards, a tied record for the most Grammys to be won in a single year by a female artist. "Dangerously In Love" and "Crazy In Love" made chart history when both album and single simultaneously hit #1 in the U.S. and the UK (which hadn't happened since 1983).

Deja Vu, Pt. 1 Reviews:
great range 4 Star Review
2006-09-03 - Thats her voice im talking about, heard her whole album bday, and to tell you the truth that is quite amazing. Will be a classic. This girl is coming of age and unleashed the talent within herself and you can just hear it in her extraordinary aretha franklin style vocals. This single is the showing that she can put emotion in her song, real raw animalistic powerful range.
I shudder to think but this girl is actually getting better.

Re-Using Old Ideas? 3 Star Review
2006-08-19 - I guess that is expected if you did an album in only three weeks, but I still expected more from Beyonce. "Deja Vu" is basically "Crazy In Love" pt.2 and yet it lacks the creativity of "Crazy In Love". This has not stop the song from going number one and it will not stop her album from going number one. However, it is time for her work to mature with her. While the track is hot, the fact she has already released a second song should tell you this song will not be considered a 'classic'.
