Me, Myself and I Reviews:
Beyonce, "Me, Myself & I" [Import Single] 4 Star Review
2005-04-05 - "Me, Myself & I" was the 3rd single released from Beyonce's solo debut album, "Dangerously In Love". This track is a ballad about being hurt by someone you love, and then learning to love yourself more, the most - and moving forward. The radio edit is just an edit of the album version. Junior's (Rosabel w/Jennifer Holliday, "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going"; Whitney Houston, "I Wanna Dance With Somebody Who Loves Me") Radio Mix is a Dance Mix (and is the main reason why I picked up this single). Now, the mix is a good dance-club version, but is not excellent. I was actually let down by it - Junior has a good basis, but really, could have done a whole lot more to make it amazing (like his mixes of "Baby Boy" & "Krazy In Love"). The Eastern Delight Mix is an R & B mix, with an Eastern instrumental accompaniment to it - a nice experiment. The last track, the Bama Boys Sexy Remix is an R & B/Hip Hop Mix. If you're not a collector, then there is no major need to pick this one up. The track listing is:

1. Radio Edit 3:58
2. Junior's Radio Mix 3:44
3. Eastern Delight Mix 4:25
4. Bama Boys Sexy Remix 4:42

Good Single Choice 5 Star Review
2004-06-05 - When I first heard Beyonce was releasing this as her 3rd single from her multi-platinum Dangerously In Love album, I couldn't have been more disappointed. At the time, I hardly cared for the song and I had labeled it as filler on her album. However, once the song hit the airwaves, I was surprised at how much better it actually sounded on the radio. It didn't sound as strange as I thought it would. It fit right in with everything else on the radio. The song peaked at #4 on the charts (a high mark for a ballad) and held its own. Beyonce addresses a cheating a lover on this song and is determined to find her inner-strength to break it off with him. Most people said this song reminded them of a leftover song from Destiny's Child 2001 album, "Survivor." I have to disagree with this. "Me, Myself and I" is a more mature song with attiude and mature lyrics. Kids may sing along and understand the song, but it isn't one they can relate to.

With that said, I'm proud to be the sole review of "Me, Myself and I," Beyonce's best single to date. If you like this song, you should consider picking up her album if you haven't already done so, because the majority of the album doesn't stray far from this.
