Post Reviews: I saw the cover, and without opening it, bought it ASAP! 1999-04-16 - While shopping in Ireland, I saw this book in a pile of other books, and I didn't even open it or look at the price, I bought it. And boy, I'm so happy I'm as impulsive as they come because this book is wondeful! Not only does it talk about Bjork (my heroine), but also about everyone that helped her to become who she is today. It has in-depth interveiws with her and everyone who helped create her second album POST, including Tricky. Plus, great pics of Bjork and copies of her notes. If you idolize Bjork like I do, definulty order this book, it rocks!
While I crawl into the unknown... 1998-03-20 - An in-depth journey into the heart of Björk's second solo album, `Post' introduces the many collaborators on the album `Post' who helped with the album. Graham Massey, Tricky, Eumir Deodato, and Evelyn Glennie are just a few. Full-color photos, sketches, and more bring the book to life. From Björk's reasons for writing the songs and their meanings to interviews to Björk's diary, and even a fairy tale with (Nova) Björk as the main character, the book explains much and answers many questions. A must-read for Björk fans.
"Violently Happy!" 1997-02-07 - "Post" offers an intimacy with Bjork and the supporting cast. If you want to know Bjork and her music, you must know the people that make it happen. If you want to go behind the scenes, you've got to sneak behind the curtain. "Post" is your backstage pass. mws
