"In the Shape of a Girl" 
2008-11-17 - This attractive six-track single comes with five mixes of "Bachelorette," the "Isobel" continuation from Homogenic. This single begins with an unessential radio edit, then moves into a five-and-a-half-minute, hip-hop infused remix by RZA of the Wu Tang Clan (the results of a fruitless Wu Tang-Björk collaboration). Three Mark Bell mixes follow, and the single is capped off with the semi-fan-favorite "My Snare" (also called "Nature is Ancient."
Of the Björk singles I own, I must say that Bachelorette is one of consistent quality. RZA's remix is interesting beyond the novelty factor; its brooding grittiness transforms the song into a gleaming dark gem. Mark Bell's mixes provide techno-fueled excitement to the Homogenic classic. The "Blue Remix" is bouncy, highly danceable, tinged with a Caribbean feel. The "Zip Remix" is contrastingly Oriental: squeaky, speedy, video game-like bloops flying against the backdrop of a thumping bassline. The "Optimism Remix" plays upon and enhances the theatrical attributes of the original, turning "Bachelorette" into a sweeping operetta. "My Snare" is organic, ironic; distant and technological yet bleeping with new life.
A fine collection of mixes, Bachelorette is highly recommended for fans of Homogenic or Debut, as the big dance sound of this single reminds one of Björk's earlier days. Those interested in the RZA remix may also be compelled to purchase this single.

Nature is Ancient
2004-08-17 - More great Bjork songs.
"My Snare" kind of has the same feeling as the LFO remix of "Possibly Maybe" from the "Telegram" album. although alot more upbeat and less dark.
"Scary" is a truly magikal song. it has no beats but only a harpsichord and some gentle electronic bleeps and blurps going on in the background. the song kind of just skips along in a gleeful way and will certainly stick in your head.
the remix of "Bachelorette" here is really good and adds alot of dramatic and cinematic touches to the (already dramatic and cinematic) original.
a quality batch of music.
One of her best singles 
2001-06-20 - First off: this is one of the best singles by any artist, and even Bjork. Usually singles should only be bought by die-hard fans who need to have the B-sides, but this is a must buy for even the casual Bjork listener. The first song, the radio edit of 'Bachelorette', is absolutely stunning. It stands out among the rest of the 'Homogenic' singles because it's so uplifting, whereas the album as a whole is pretty dark. 'My Snare' has a great beat, and 'Scary' is like something out of a musical. Both great songs. The final song, a different version of 'Bachelorette' really brings out the power of the strings because it doesn't feature the piano part. Overall, this is a MUST have.
Superb mixes of a superb song - and a good b-side!
2000-06-10 - This song was Björk second Homogenic single, and, in my opinion one of her best works ever. The single include six tracks, five Bachelorette mixes and a fab. b-side called My Snare (also known as Nature Is Ancient from the Japanese Homogenic, which also can be ordered from Amazon.

The different mixes captures different feelings of this song, the jungle style jeep mix and the zip mix are funky, the RZA mix more ambient, while the blue mix make you want to dance. My personal favourite is the optimistic mix, which really is hard to descibe. Buy this CD and listen for youself. This is well spent money - 5 stars, but again: this is a Björk CD!
