Editorial Review:
Although Brant Bjork has four solo records out to date, this is his first release with his Brothers of Rock. It is a musical celebration of the roads and rituals to inner and outer freedom. The Bros drop lots of killer music on this 19 song double CD release, featuring songs like 'Makin the Pony Trot', 'Kiss Away' and 'Let the Truth Be Known'. Features a couple of guest guitars from desert legend Mario Lalli, a dusty version of Cream's 'Sunshine of Your Love' and insane custom cover art. Duna. 2005.

Saved by Magic Reviews:
Modern-Day Psychedelia 5 Star Review
2009-06-07 - From the cover art to the lay-out of this double-disc to the songs themselves, this record has a modern-day Carlos Santana vibe to it. B. Bjork digs laid-back & rockin' records from the late '60s & '70s. That is happily obvious.

This is his first release under the official title, Brant Bjork & The Bros. The bros being Cortez, Michael Peffer & Dylan Roche. Side A, called something else that Cheech & Chong might say, features ten songs, while side B, again called something else that Cheech & Chong might say, has 9 songs. That's a big, double-disc slab of 19 Brant Bjork created stoner jams that old fans & new will surely dig. If you've got your hearing, some style and a pulse. If not, then good luck to you. You'll need it.

Magic Saves, Not Jesus 4 Star Review
2008-02-07 - If you have heard Brant Bjork albums before, you know what you are in for -> A Good Listen To Some Great Tunes, Some Laid Back and Some Pushy, All of Them Groovy.
"Saved by Magic" is no different. Buy This and Jam IT!

Should come packaged with a cold six-pack 5 Star Review
2007-03-22 - For an effort that more or less copmrises Brant Bjork's reminiscences of his life, two discs is actually pretty short. I haven't heard his other solo work, but I am a fan from his Kyuss and Fu Manchu days. This collection of songs really took me over like a slow burn, though. Nineteen cuts of smoothly laid-back guitar rock about growing up in LA, playing arcade games (that one's for the "older kids"), first loves, gettin' stoned, and chilling out with buddies. You can't beat this...I just can't wait until summer when I can kick back on my porch with some cold cervezas and this record. (Oh, the cover tunes rock - anyone that can pull off an original yet faithful version of my favorite Stones tune gets an automatic five stars from me).

These cd's rock!!! 5 Star Review
2006-05-13 - I really like both of these cd's. Honestly, it sounds like a modern day Jimi Hendrix Experience minus the long guitar solos. If you didn't know it was Brant Bjork when hes not singing it sounds like Jimi's band. Bad Ass!!!
Some of the best music I've bought in a long time. Keep rocking out Brant!!!

Didn't thrill me. 3 Star Review
2005-12-29 - I'm a huge Brant Bjork fan, but this is his only album that did not grab me the first time I listened to it. It might be one of those albums that grows on you, but I actually found myself skipping tracks on the second listen.
